Kabaddi toh jaan hai. Take a look at the reality of the mitti, the daily grind, and the bond we share at the academy. It is all about the work before the win.

A portrait of one of our academy's top defenders. We focus on creating specialized players who excel in their roles.

The work starts before we even step on the mat. Here, players are preparing the ground, showing respect for the 'mitti' where we train.

Two of my players with the tools used to maintain our ground. This teaches them discipline and respect for the sport's traditions.

A player proudly holding the tools of the trade. Every player learns the importance of maintaining the ground they play on.

A group of players after preparing the ground for practice. This hard work builds character and a sense of team responsibility.

Another shot of my players with the ground preparation tools. This is a fundamental part of our daily routine at the academy.

The team together after a session of ground maintenance. This shared effort strengthens their bond as a team.

Players posing with the rake and shovel. This is a reminder that success in Kabaddi is built from the ground up.

The shadows of players on the ground they've just prepared. It symbolizes the hard work that happens before the glory.

More of my dedicated players after finishing their ground duties. This is the beginning of a new chapter for every athlete who joins us.

About Additional Work & Moments

Before you see a raider score a point, you see the hours of maintenance on the ground. My students learn that if you do not respect the mitti you train on, you will not respect the game. This discipline is the foundation of everything we do here.

More Than Just Training

At the Delhi Kabaddi Adda, we believe that being a pro athlete starts with taking ownership of your environment. When you see our players with rakes and shovels, it is not just maintenance work. It is a lesson in humility and focus. You cannot perform on a court you have not prepared yourself. This daily routine builds the grit that stays with you long after the match is over.

The Coach's Perspective

I wear many hats here. Whether I am guiding sessions on the ground, teaching specific moves like the dash or dubki, or serving as an official for zonal matches, my goal remains the same. I want my players to understand the game from every angle. When I interact with other teams during tournaments, I bring that knowledge back to the Adda so my players are always ready for the real pressure of a tournament.

Building a Family

We are not just a sports centre. We are a family. From sharing morning practice sessions to celebrating small victories, this community is where champions are forged. We keep it real. No shortcuts, just hard work, shared sweat, and the constant push to get better every single day. If you have the passion, we have the space for you to grow into a hero. Roksakotohroklo!

I am Coach Surender Singh. For me, the Delhi Kabaddi Adda is not just an academy; it is a home where dreams take shape in the dust. I believe in hard work, discipline, and building athletes who are ready for anything the mat throws at them.
