Nostalgic Watercolor Illustrations of Homes and Memories
I turn your cherished memories of ancestral homes, vintage bikes, and old lanes into evocative watercolor art. Let's capture the story held within your walls.

About Nostalgic Illustrations: Homes & Memories
When I paint your ancestral home or a heritage building, we start with a preliminary pencil sketch. This stage ensures the proportions and textures match your memory perfectly before I bring it to life with lightfast Mijello Mission pigments on Arches 300GSM paper.
There is something deeply grounding about holding a painting of a place that shaped your childhood. Whether it is the peeling paint of a village home in Karaikudi or that classic red Indian postbox you remember from your neighborhood, I love recreating these fleeting details. My process for architectural commissions is collaborative. Since these pieces often hold significant emotional value, I include a pencil sketch approval stage for all A3 size heritage work. This ensures I get the nuances of the architecture right, from the masonry to the foliage, before committing to the vibrant watercolor strokes. I use professional grade Arches 300GSM cold-press paper, which creates that beautiful, rough texture needed to capture the vintage essence of old masonry. Each piece is signed and flat-packed between rigid boards to reach you in perfect condition. Beyond houses, I also love painting vintage objects like classic Yezdi motorcycles or old-fashioned postboxes. These items are more than just props; they are anchors to a time or a person we miss. If you have a photograph of a beloved spot or an object that feels like home, share it with me. We can turn that memory into a piece of art that doesn't just fill a space, but keeps a story alive.
