This large-scale Buddha mural was created for a yoga studio, designed to be the centerpiece of a calm and meditative environment. I specialize in creating such spiritual art that transforms a commercial or personal space into a sanctuary.

Here I am with a custom Pichwai-style mural I painted right at the entrance of my home. This piece, featuring a decorated cow and vibrant lotuses, shows how I adapt traditional Indian art to create a warm and personal welcome.

This is one of my early murals, inspired by the elegance of Mughal art. I love painting these pieces that bring a classic, royal vibe into a modern home, making a blank wall feel like a story.

This painting of the 'purani galiyan' of Banaras captures the soul of India that I love to paint. This watercolor piece, featuring a classic Indian street scene with its old architecture and a resting cow, is a perfect example of how I find stories waiting to be told in the most ordinary moments.

There's a special kind of magic in things that remind us of a simpler time. This commissioned watercolor of a classic red India Post letterbox is one of my most requested subjects, and I love bringing this piece of nostalgia to life for my clients.

While watercolors are my first love, I enjoy exploring other mediums too. This vibrant macaw was painted with acrylics on a wood panel, which gives the colors a unique depth and texture. It shows a different side of my artistic expression.

My Story

Hey! I’m Debolina, juggling code and crayons in Bangalore. Bengali by roots, new mom by fate, and obsessed with all things vintage - purani haveli (old mansions), old doors, chai wale bhaiyya (tea seller), you name it. My art’s a mix of festival vibes, street scenes, and whatever’s lying around while my tornado (my son Yuvan) naps. Life’s messy, paint’s everywhere, but I wouldn’t trade these quick baby sketches for anything.
