About Original Art for Sale
How My Life Shapes My Art
Art for me is daily life - messy, colorful, and a bit unpredictable. I juggle code, motherhood, and paintbrushes. My work is like a diary, mixing my Bengali roots, Bangalore's buzz, and everything in between.
What Inspires My Paintings
- Indian street scenes - purani galiyan, chai wale bhaiyya, flower bazaars, and auto-rickshaws fill my sketchbook. If you’ve ever been to Banaras or Namma Bengaluru, you’ll spot them in my watercolor art for sale.
- Nostalgia - old Yezdi scooters, classic letterboxes, vintage radios. I love giving these pieces a second life.
- Everyday stuff - Amul butter blocks, coffee mugs, paint tubes. Beauty’s everywhere, even in your kitchen.
- Our culture - gods, goddesses, festivals, dancers. Dugga elo! (Durga has arrived) gets painted with all my emotion.
How I Paint
Watercolors are my jam. I’m picky about my paper and paints - Arches and Mijello Mission are my go-tos. Sometimes I switch to acrylics or detailed pen and ink, depending on the mood.
Art That Fits Your Story
Every unique handmade painting is packed with care and shipped all over India. It means a lot to me when my art makes it to someone’s wall - one client even calls theirs 'Debo’s wall'.
Grateful for the Journey
My work’s been part of Chitrasanthe, India Art Festival, Fabriano in Acquarello (Italy), Vietnam in Acquarello, and Olympiart 2024. Every show pushes me to keep going.

My Story
Hey! I’m Debolina, juggling code and crayons in Bangalore. Bengali by roots, new mom by fate, and obsessed with all things vintage - purani haveli (old mansions), old doors, chai wale bhaiyya (tea seller), you name it. My art’s a mix of festival vibes, street scenes, and whatever’s lying around while my tornado (my son Yuvan) naps. Life’s messy, paint’s everywhere, but I wouldn’t trade these quick baby sketches for anything.
My Work
Art for Your Home - I create watercolor and acrylic paintings, murals, and pen sketches. Commissions welcome - memories on canvas!
Vintage & Everyday Inspirations - Old lanes, heritage buildings, Bengali festival artwork, and street life keep my brush moving.
Commissioned Memories - Love painting ancestral homes or your Yezdi bike - it’s special to be part of your story.
My Style - Mostly watercolors, but also acrylic mural for yoga studio and pen sketches. Heart in every stroke.
Artist Mom Life - Art time’s wild now - quick baby sketch while Yuvan naps, slower pace, same passion.
