Building a powerful back and legs with a heavy deadlift. This is a fundamental exercise for developing raw strength and a solid physique.

Another look at the deadlift, a cornerstone of our strength program. We focus on proper form to maximize power and prevent injury.

Squats are non-negotiable for building lower body strength. Here, a member works on her form and depth under a loaded barbell in the squat rack.

We use unconventional methods for building brute strength. This is a variation of a floor press using a heavy tire and dumbbells to challenge stability and pressing power.

The barbell floor press is an excellent variation for building chest and tricep strength while minimizing shoulder strain. It's all about raw power.

The leg press hold and rep challenge. This is how we push past muscular endurance limits and build serious strength in the quads and glutes.

We use variations like close and wide stance leg presses to target different muscles in the legs for comprehensive development.

Building Raw Power

Powerlifting is about one thing: moving heavy weight with perfect technique. At Delhi Combat, we focus on the foundation—the Big Three: Squats, Deadlifts, and the Bench Press. You won't find machines that do the work for you. Here, you use your body to move the iron.

Why Our Approach Works

Many gyms focus on isolation exercises that look good on Instagram but don't translate to real-world power. We do the opposite. Our strength training focuses on compound movements that recruit multiple muscle groups, ensuring you build functional, enduring strength.

  • Technique First: You will never be told to 'just lift heavy' without guidance. We drill the form until it becomes muscle memory.
  • The Right Tools: We use rugged, functional equipment—barbells, racks, and plates—in a non-AC, naturally ventilated space. It gets hot, you sweat, and that is where the growth happens.
  • Consistency: We operate on a 6-day-a-week schedule. If you skip, your progress skips. We keep you on track.
