Ground & Pound: Wrestling & Grappling Training in Laxmi Nagar
Don’t let the fight slip away. We teach you how to dominate the ground game, control your opponent, and secure the finish with real MMA-focused wrestling and BJJ.
A glimpse into our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) training. Here, students are rolling on the mats, practicing submissions and escapes. This is the art of ground fighting.
A typical wrestling training session at our club. Students are practicing takedowns and control, building the strength and technique needed for grappling.
"Self-Doubt Kills Talent." Our MMA drills include working against the cage wall, a crucial skill for both offense and defense in a real fight.
"Underhook daal!" Coaching a student during a live wrestling drill. I'm giving specific instructions on how to gain control and execute a takedown.
"Shoot le!" Pushing a student to commit to a takedown during a grappling session. It's about being decisive and explosive in your movements.
A submission-only No-Gi BJJ competition. Here you can see the technical aspect of grappling as one fighter works to secure a submission.
About Ground & Pound: Wrestling & Grappling
Grappling isn't just about rolling on mats, it's about being the one in control. Whether you are working on wrestling takedowns or BJJ submissions, my focus is on making you dangerous from any position. You will drill the setups and defenses until they are muscle memory, not just guesses. If you want to survive when the fight hits the floor, you need to show up and put in the work.
In MMA, the fight almost always ends up on the floor. If you don't know how to wrestle or control your opponent, you are at their mercy. At Combat MMA Club, we don't teach fancy moves that look good in a movie; we teach what actually works in the cage.
Why our Grappling is different
We focus on wrestling for takedowns and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for submissions. This is practical, high-intensity training. When I shout 'Underhook daal!' or 'Control le!' during sparring, I am teaching you to create the leverage you need to win.
We train hard because the mats in Laxmi Nagar are where you forge your technique. Whether you are an absolute beginner or looking to compete in state-level MMA championships, my approach is the same: discipline first. We drill the same movements over and over because, in a real fight, you won't have time to think. You will only have time to react.
What to expect in your session
- Takedown Defense: Learning how to stay on your feet when someone is driving for your legs.
- Positioning: How to escape bad spots and advance to a dominant position.
- Live Sparring: We put what we learn to the test. You will not just be watching; you will be doing.
This isn't a place to hide. It is a place to grow. If you are ready to stop guessing and start controlling the fight, come train with our parivaar.
Combat MMA Club
I am Pavan Sikarwar. At my club, we don't just teach techniques; we build fighters. I treat every student like family, but on the mats, it is all about hard work and discipline. If you want to master the ground game and get fight-ready, just show up and put in the work.
