Mindful Yoga & Movement Practices in Bengaluru
Movement is not just about the pose, it is about the breath that leads you there. I invite you to my practice in Horamavu where we focus on finding stillness and inner clarity, together.
This poster celebrates the connection between yoga and music. My practice is built on the belief that movement can be a song and stillness can be a rhythm, both leading to inner harmony.
A moment of focus during an inversion. When the breath deepens and the world quiets, we can find presence. Movement, stillness, and sound are all doorways to the self.
This video explains some of the benefits of yoga inversions. These poses can help broaden the mind, boost the immune system, and bring clarity, preparing you for deeper spiritual practices.
An arm balance requires focus, strength, and determination. If you have a goal, it is time to ignite that fire and begin your journey today.
In the stillness of a meditative pose like Padmasana, we can observe our thoughts without being controlled by them. Mindful awareness is the key to turning thought into a creative and peaceful force.
When you own your breath, nobody can steal your peace. This is the foundation of both my yoga and sound healing work, finding that quiet center within.
About My Yoga & Movement Practice
Most yoga studios focus on the perfect pose, but I work differently. I encourage you to come to my studio in Horamavu with zero expectations. We always start by grounding the nervous system through breath before we move, which makes this space ideal even if you feel stiff or intimidated by high-intensity fitness classes.
My approach to yoga is built on a foundation of 'Progress over Perfection.' Whether you are joining me for Hatha, Vinyasa, or focused pranayama sessions, the goal is never to force your body into an uncomfortable shape. Instead, we use movement as a doorway to silence the noise in your head.
At my Nrityog Movement Arts Space in Horamavu, I combine these physical postures with the same vibrational techniques I use in my sound healing work. This means your yoga session might include the subtle resonance of a singing bowl to help you deepen into a stretch or release tension that a typical gym class might overlook.
If you are a beginner, do not worry about flexibility. I specialize in breaking down complex movements into manageable steps, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and free from judgment. For those seeking a deeper practice, we explore inversions and advanced flows, but only when your breath is steady and your mind is present.
These sessions are more than just a workout. They are a practice in self-discipline and observation. We practice in a dedicated, peaceful environment, and I keep group sizes small so I can offer individual adjustments and corrections. Come ready to move, but leave ready to be still.
