Yoga, Breathwork, and Movement for Inner Balance

I believe we must prepare the body to still the mind. My sessions blend yoga, pranayama, and Kalari to release physical tension before we settle into deeper meditation.

This video poses the question: Yoga or Sound Meditation? It shows the transition from a dynamic yoga pose (Dhanurasana or Bow Pose) to a seated meditation with sound bowls, illustrating how both practices lead to deep relaxation.

A short sequence demonstrating how yoga and sound meditation can be combined. The video moves from gentle yoga stretches like Cat-Cow to a final relaxation pose with a singing bowl placed on the body for direct vibrational healing.

A collage celebrating International Yoga Day at one of our retreats. It shows participants in seated meditation, practicing Warrior Pose, and receiving hands-on adjustments, capturing the spirit of our yoga sessions.

A moment of connection and trust during a partner yoga session in a park. This AcroYoga pose demonstrates the playful and community-oriented side of our practice, building strength and balance together.

About this collection

I don’t just teach yoga poses for fitness. My approach is to use movement—whether it’s a Hatha flow or Kalari-inspired drills—as a tool to loosen the body so you aren’t distracted by aches or stiffness when you finally sit for meditation. If you have struggled to switch off during a standard meditation session, this body-first sequence is designed to help you drop into stillness naturally.

We start with the body because it holds our stress. In our sessions, whether we are at an outdoor park in Bengaluru or a mountain retreat, we move through postures that are not about perfection but about releasing what you have been carrying. I incorporate Pranayama, or yogic breathwork, to regulate the nervous system. I also occasionally introduce Kalari movements, which bring a unique kind of focus and structural strength.

Once the body is warm and the breath is steady, the transition to sound meditation feels effortless. The silence you find after movement is deeper than the silence you find when you are restless.

We offer:

  • Small group Yoga and Breathwork sessions in Bengaluru, often in open spaces like Cubbon Park.
  • Residential retreats in Manali and Rishikesh where nature enhances the practice.
  • Corporate wellness workshops to help teams reset and reduce stress during the workday.

Whether you are new to yoga or looking to deepen your existing practice, these sessions are about creating space—space in your joints, space in your lungs, and space in your mind.

Namaste, I’m Shriram. I mix old traditions like yoga, Kalari, and sound therapy to help your mind and body chill together. I’ve led sessions everywhere, from noisy offices to the quiet hills of Manali, and I’m always grateful to witness that shift when someone finally finds their inner quiet.
