About Ground Game: Control & Submissions
The ground game isn't about magical moves you see in movies. It is about patience and weight distribution. You will spend weeks learning how to hold a side mount or maintain a guard before you even think about a submission. If you are looking for a quick fix, this isn't it. If you want to learn how to actually control a situation—or a person—this is where you start.
Why do we drill pins and transitions until you're gasping for air? Because when the adrenaline is spiking, you don't rise to the occasion; you sink to your lowest level of training. We teach you to breathe through the pressure. You will work on everything from basic single-leg takedowns to complex joint locks and choke chains. We follow a strict 'position before submission' rule. It doesn't matter how fancy your armbar is if you haven't secured the position first. Beginners at our Andheri East facility start here—learning to fall, learning to move, and eventually, learning to impose their will. Whether you are training for an MMA fight or just want the confidence of knowing how to neutralize a bigger, stronger opponent using leverage, the principles are the same.
