Wrestling: Takedowns & Transitions
Wrestling isn't just about throwing people. It’s about rhythm, chain wrestling, and knowing exactly where to put your weight. We don't do flashy. We do fundamentals that actually work.
We drill relentless movement. A blocked single leg becomes a double leg. A failed double becomes a back take. This is how you keep an opponent guessing and break them down with constant pressure.
Positioning is everything. In our advanced sessions, we focus on mastering dominant positions like the double leg entry and inside single leg. A small shift in weight or a well-timed move changes the entire fight.
This is the work before the work. We build our foundation on Sunday to be ready for Monday. Every session is about preparing for the next battle, proving that discipline is the key to victory on the mats.
This is Wrestling 101. We work takedown entries relentlessly because a flawless takedown comes from agility and technique, not just brute force. We build the strength and muscle memory to dominate on the mat.
Wrestling is one of the oldest and most demanding forms of combat. It builds a unique combination of physical strength, agility, and mental toughness. We teach the art of wrestling to all skill levels.
Our wrestling sessions are designed to strengthen your core and build overall athleticism. We train hard, focusing on drills that improve your game and push your limits.
Some people find wrestling positions amusing, but this is the most physically demanding sport in the world. Every position is a calculated part of a complex strategy. We welcome anyone who thinks otherwise to try a session.
About this collection
A takedown isn't a single move, it’s a setup. You’ll learn how to chain a single leg into a double, or use a failed shot to force a back take. In our sessions, you aren't just memorizing drills, you're learning how to read your partner's weight distribution and force them to make the mistake you want. It’s exhausting, it’s technical, and it’s the only way to get on top when the heat is on.
Wrestling is the oldest form of combat, but we strip away the romance and get to the functional reality. At our Andheri East facility, we focus on high-percentage takedowns that work in an actual fight. We don't care about style points. We care about entries, sprawl mechanics, and the constant pressure required to break an opponent down.
Why the focus on transitions?
Because a single shot rarely ends the fight. A blocked single leg becomes a double. A failed double turns into a back take. We drill these sequences until they become muscle memory. If you hesitate, you lose position. That is why we drill chain wrestling relentlessly. You need to move without thinking.
The reality of our mats
Expect to be tired. We train in a high-intensity environment with industrial wall fans and standard EVA foam mats. Our student-to-coach ratio is capped at 1:15. This isn't a place for casual gym-goers looking to pose. Whether you are in our Foundation Access or the Unlimited Fighter program, the intensity remains the same. If you’re slacking, you will hear about it. We use the chaos of weekly live sparring to test these techniques, and we expect you to show up, do the work, and respect the process.
Is this for you?
If you want to learn how to control where a fight takes place, you need to wrestle. It’s that simple. We welcome anyone ready to put in the work, from beginners to pros. Bring your own shorts, show up on time, and be ready to sweat.
