Movement Philosophy and Exploration in Bengaluru
Movement is life, yaar. It should be fun, intuitive, and occasionally a little weird. This is where I experiment with finding joy in every rep.
Nothing is perfect. But it's all good. Here I am exploring spinal extension and mobility on a spin bike. I'm not the strongest, but I sure do enjoy myself.
Cycling is running, and running is cycling. This is a balance and coordination drill on the spin bike, using dumbbells to challenge stability and mimic the arm action of running.
The universe is spinning slowly. Are you? A slow forward bend while spinning on a bike can be a great way to release tension in your lower back.
About Movement Philosophy & Exploration
You might see me using a spin bike not to burn calories, but to find spinal extension or practice balance drills. It looks different because the goal is different—I focus on rhythm and body awareness rather than just crushing a target. When you train with me, we prioritize how your body feels in motion over rigid, repetitive exercise charts.
Moving Beyond The Gym Routine
Most people approach fitness with a checklist, doing X reps of Y exercise. I prefer to explore. Whether we are hanging from a bar to open up the shoulders or using a spin bike for spinal articulation, we are looking for freedom of movement. If you spend all day at a desk, your spine gets stuck. These sessions are about un-sticking it.
The 'Grinding' Approach
Movement isn't just about the gym. It is about understanding how your spine, hips, and shoulders work together to keep you pain-free. My method is built on this—using cyclical, rhythmic movements to unlock tightness that traditional gym workouts often miss.
What To Expect
- Spinal Articulation: We focus on moving the spine through its full range. Think of it as maintenance for your back.
- Rhythm & Balance: Fitness is a dance, not a chore. We use rhythm to make endurance training engaging and sustainable.
- Functional Play: We use equipment in unconventional ways—if it helps you connect with your core and release tension, it is a valid exercise.
This isn't for people looking for a 'no pain, no gain' boot camp. This is for those who want to move well, stand tall, and breathe easy. We work in Richards Town, across other parts of Bengaluru, or under the open sky. Let's find your balance.
