My Journey: Finding Strength and Peace Through Movement
Fitness is more than just ticking boxes. It is a journey of healing, learning, and celebrating every small win along the way.
Just a happy moment at the gym. A good curl day, good lighting, and a simple smile are always worth capturing.
Having some fun with a split at the Cult Fit Games 2024. It's always great to be part of community events that celebrate fitness and movement.
Another snapshot from a good day at the gym. Finding joy in the simple things is a practice in itself.
A candid smile. My journey has taught me the importance of solitude and finding happiness from within.
Throwing up the peace signs because that's the ultimate goal. Finding shanti in the middle of the chaos.
About A Bit About Me
People often ask why I focus so much on alignment and patience. It is because I have been on the other side of that struggle, crawling and rebuilding my own strength after an ACL surgery. Every class I lead at our Cult centers in Koramangala or HSR is grounded in that same reality: it is okay to struggle, it is okay to move slowly, and it is worth it to keep showing up.
After my ACL and meniscus surgery, fitness felt like an uphill battle. I had to learn how to walk again, which taught me that true strength is not about intensity, but about consistency and compassion for your own body. My approach is simple: I use yoga to help you bridge the gap between injury and active living.
The 'Jaane Do' Philosophy
In my sessions, you will often hear me say 'Jaane do' (let it go). We carry so much physical and mental tension, especially in a city like Bangalore. My classes are designed to help you release that weight. Whether we are focusing on breathwork (Pranayama) to calm your nervous system or using props like blocks and wheels to support deep backbends, the goal is always to find some shanti (peace) in the chaos.
Why Practice With Me?
My training is technical but accessible. We break down complex movements like Chaturanga or deep squats into manageable steps. If you are rehabbing an injury or looking to fix your posture after long hours at a desk, I provide the hands-on adjustments and guidance needed to do it safely.
My Roots in Bangalore
I am currently training students at Cult Koramangala and Cult HSR. These spaces allow us to explore Vinyasa flows, functional strength, and recovery drills in an environment that feels welcoming rather than intimidating. If you are ready to stop beating yourself up for not being 'perfect' and start showing up for yourself, I would love to have you in my practice.
Yoginifromsomeworld
I am not just a trainer; I am a fellow student of movement. After navigating my own injury, I realized that yoga is about patience and finding peace in the middle of chaos, and I bring that empathy to every session I lead.
