What Drives Me

I’m all about building dancers, not just teaching steps. My studio is a space where discipline meets real fun - and I’m not shy about asking you to squeeze your bum or flex your feet. Technique matters, but we cheer for every little win too. Watching a tiny kid beat stage fright or a group nailing a tough sequence is the kind of stuff that makes me love this work.

Dance Styles We Dive Into

My heart beats for Indian dance traditions. Most of my focus is on Kathak (Jaipur gharana), but I also bring in semi-classical dance fusion and full-on Bhangra choreography for beginners. Each style lets you discover something different and real.

• Kathak: This is my soul dance. We dig deep - from footwork and reciting dance syllables to owning the rhythm (taal) and telling stories (abhinaya). Your ghungroos will say as much as your face does.
• Semi-Classical: If you vibe with Bollywood or want a mix of old and new, this style is for you. It’s all about emotion and flow.
• Bhangra: Pure energy and joy from Punjab. No way to dance Bhangra without a big smile.

Beyond Technique

I see my students as my tribe - from little munchkins to teens and adults. We train for stage and competitions, and nothing beats seeing them step out in costume, owning their moment. It’s about growing as a dancer and as a person. Your taal belongs here.
