Western & Cinematic Dance Classes
Dance Styles & Content
Includes rotation of Hip-Hop isolation, Bollywood choreography, Jazz, and Freestyle. Sessions cover step-by-step breakdown of full songs and trending viral hook steps.
Media & Production
Classes include regular video recording of routines using studio ring lights and branded backdrops for social media content.
Batch Structure
Students are segregated into 'Little Stars' (4-9 years) and 'Teens/Adults' to ensure appropriate song selection and difficulty. Sessions include Zumba-style cardio warm-ups.
Classical Kathak Degree Program
Curriculum & Certification
Formal syllabus covering Tihai, Teen Tal, and Tatkar footwork. Prepares students for affiliation board exams (Prayag/Pracheen Kala Kendra) for diploma or degree certification.
Live Accompaniment
Sessions feature a live Tabla player to teach rhythm and layakari fundamentally, distinguishing this from recorded music classes.
Studio Infrastructure
Training is conducted on specialized wooden flooring to protect knees during heavy footwork. The studio is air-conditioned and equipped with wall-to-wall mirrors for posture correction.
Seasonal Summer & Winter Camps
Activity Bundle
Daily schedule combines Freestyle dance and Zumba with guided Art & Craft sessions (materials provided), fireless cooking, and drama workshops.
Duration & Logistics
Classes run Monday to Friday for 2 to 3 hours per day. Programs typically span 15 to 20 days during school breaks.
Final Showcase
Concludes with a fashion show or stage performance where students present their skills. Craft items created during the camp are taken home.
Annual Show & Competition Packages
Event Preparation
Includes additional weekend rehearsal hours beyond regular tuition and professional choreography polishing for stage acts. Covers internal audition entry fees.
Show Day Deliverables
Includes rental of themed costumes and props. Covers the student's share of auditorium rental, professional stage lighting, and sound setup.
Media Package
Includes professional photography and videography of the specific stage performance.

Discovering dance at Tansen Mehrauli isn't about perfect moves - it's all about finding what makes you happy and having full-on masti. Our studio is more like a big family, where no one's left out and everybody gets to be themselves.
Styles We Teach
You can try out a bunch of dance styles here:
- Kathak basics for beginners - we start from scratch with things like Teen Tal, Tihai, and all the ghungroo vibes. Our gurus break down every step, sometimes with live Tabla.
- Hip-Hop choreography class and Western dances - if you want to jump in, we've got beginner batches. Expect footwork, jazz, wacking, all that energy.
- Bollywood dance workshop - party mode! Learn fun steps to new Bollywood and Punjabi tracks. This one's a crowd favorite.
- Festival workshops: Zumba, Garba, and more, especially during Holi or Ganesh Chaturthi.
The Studio Vibe
Our space is open, mirrors everywhere, wooden floors. But what really matters is the positive energy and the way our maestros teach - step by step, always supportive. When students say, “Aap bahut acche se sikhate hain,” honestly, that's our best reward.
Performing & Camps
We host 'Expressions,' our big showcase, plus in-class performances and festival celebrations. Kids summer dance camp is a blast - dance, yoga, art, acting, even a fashion show, perfect for our nanhe star and teens. Adults, you’re welcome too - we’ve got something for everyone.

My Story
Namaste! We’re Tansen Mehrauli, ek parivaar (a family) of artists, teachers, and students. For us, it’s not just about sikhana (teaching) dance or music – it’s about sparking joy. Kids come here, leave their screens, and discover magic with their own hands. Students tell us, ‘Sir, aap bahut acha dance sikhate ho. Main enjoy karti hoon.’ That’s why we do this. Our big event ‘Expressions’ shows it all – sweat, nervousness, proud smiles. Hum sirf artists nahi banate, we build happy, confident people.
