Why I Dance
I started Divine Movement because I know what it’s like to feel burnt out and disconnected. I used to be a lawyer, chained to my desk, wishing for something more. Dance changed everything for me - it’s how I found my spark again. Here, it’s not just about learning steps. It’s about finding your own vibe, letting go, and moving how you feel.
Class Styles
- Bollywood dance fitness is all about high energy, killer beats, and making workouts feel like a party. No stress, just moving and sweating with a smile.
- Heels choreography class is for anyone wanting to boost confidence and tap into their feminine side. Heels are totally optional – no judgement.
- Our contemporary classes mix things up, with expressive movement and a bit of ballet and floorwork thrown in. These are more about storytelling and emotions than perfect technique.
What Else Happens Here
- Kids have their own summer camps - dance, aerial hoop, and yoga. Sometimes parents join in for bonding sessions.
- Movement therapy session like “Paint with your body” is for anyone who needs to let emotions out – no dance experience needed.
- We host beginner dance workshops and intensives for those who want to go deep and build a foundation.

My Story
We’re Divine Movement, started by Harshita (ex-lawyer turned dance junkie). Dance saved me from the 9-6 rut, gave me back my spark. I made this studio so folks like me—busy, tired, maybe a bit lost—could find joy again. I teach everything from Bharatanatyam to heels to aerial hoop. No one’s here to be perfect, just to move, feel, laugh. Come as you are, find your groove.
