About Adult & Online Classes
In my adult batches, we move way past 'just steps.' Whether you are standing in my Paschim Vihar studio or joining via Zoom, the technique expectations are exactly the same. If you are learning Kathak, I will still ask you to hold your posture and focus on those nuances, because online or offline, your taal needs to be precise. You aren't here to just watch a video; you are here to learn how to dance properly.
How My Hybrid Classes Actually Work
I believe distance is no barrier to discipline. My hybrid batches allow you to train with me even if you are not in West Delhi. I run these sessions in real-time, not through pre-recorded, hands-off videos.
When you log into a hybrid session, you are part of the class dynamic. I am watching your posture, correcting your hand positions, and expecting the same level of focus I demand from students standing right in front of me. Whether you are aiming for Kathak, Bollywood choreography, or semi-classical expression, the goal remains the same: mastering the art.
What to Expect
- Small Batches: I cap my classes at 8-12 students. This ensures I can actually see you, correct your alignment, and give you the feedback you need to improve.
- Kathak Focus: We dive into the Jaipur gharana technique—Tatkaar, Chakkars, and Padhant. It is demanding, but seeing the progress makes every bead of sweat worth it.
- Flexible Styles: If Kathak isn't your vibe, my adult choreography batches focus on Semi-Classical flow and high-energy Bhangra. These are perfect for working professionals who want to let loose and get a solid workout at the same time.
