Our Lineage and Martial Arts Philosophy

byDadaTraining at Chandra Layout, BengaluruView full gallery

In martial arts, where you come from matters as much as where you are going. This is the foundation of the Indian Karate and yoga traditions I pass on to my students.

This video shows the lineage of our school, honoring my gurus, Grand Master B. M. Narasimhan and Soke. Shrinivas. It also shows the many trophies and medals our school has won over the years, a testament to their teachings.

This is my official instructor profile. As a 3rd Dan Black Belt, I am dedicated to passing on the knowledge and discipline of Indian Karate to all my students.

About this collection

Every movement we teach, from our Kalri-N-Ryu stances to our Kundalini yoga sessions, follows a lineage traced back to Grandmaster B. M. Narasimhan and Soke Shrinivas. When you train with us in Nagarbhavi or Chandra Layout, you are not just learning physical techniques. You are inheriting a disciplined tradition that emphasizes mental acuity as much as combat readiness.

My teaching is built on the philosophy of 'dimaag mein gyaan, peeth pe taakat' (wisdom in the mind, strength on the back). This guiding principle ensures that every student who enters my dojo understands that martial arts is about more than just fighting. It is about sharpening the mind and building physical resilience.

My approach balances the discipline of competitive Indian Karate with the depth of traditional self-defense. While my students consistently win medals at state and national level championships, those achievements are secondary to the personal growth they experience during training. We train for KIO and World Karate Federation standards, meaning you get a curriculum that is both culturally rooted and globally competitive.

At my facilities in Nagarbhavi and Chandra Layout, we focus on:

  • Kalri-N-Ryu: A systematic style of Indian Karate developed by my gurus.
  • Integrated Yoga: Kundalini practices that improve flexibility and focus.
  • Practical Self-Defense: Skills designed for real-world scenarios.
  • Traditional Weaponry: Focused sessions on Nunchaku and Bo staff handling.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to advance your training, you will find a consistent, respectful environment dedicated to the mastery of body and spirit. I invite you to step into the dojo and begin this journey.
