About Yoga Instruction
My Philosophy: Yogi-Warrior Style
I see yoga and martial arts as connected - both shaping a body and mind that's tough yet flexible. The shloka I follow keeps me grounded: 'agrataḥ caturo vedāḥ pṛṣṭhataḥ saśaraṃ dhanuḥ' (let your wisdom guide you, but keep your strength ready). My goal? Help you get strong, focused, and ready for whatever life throws your way.
What To Expect
My classes aren’t your casual, slow-paced sessions. Here’s what we dive into:
- Kundalini energy awakening, breathwork, and posture at my shala
- Functional strength training, sometimes with desi tools like the gada (club)
- Advanced yoga postures - think handstands, crazy arm balances, deep bends, full splits
- Yoga for athletes and martial artists wanting that extra edge
Competitive Yogasana Coaching
I compete too - won at state level, went to nationals. If you want to train for state, national, or open yogasana championships, I know the drill. My training links up with Yogasana Bharat so it’s legit and recognized.
Who Should Join
If you’re:
- Serious about competition (age doesn’t matter)
- Intermediate or advanced and want to push limits
- Looking for cross-training as an athlete
- Keen to explore real Kundalini practice
Where We Practice
Classes run in Bangalore at Nagarbhavi (my main Kundalini Yoga Shala) and Chandra Layout. Both are open for serious seekers.

Dada
My Story
Namaste, I’m Dada. My life? All about martial arts and yoga. I run Self Defence School of Indian Karate and Kundalini Yoga Shala – discipline, practice, and a bit of sweat. I’ve won some Yogasana medals, but honestly, watching my students like Neeraj go from state champ to national winner, that’s the real high. Everything I teach, it’s from my masters, especially my Guru Shrinivas. Shastras say: be sharp in mind and strong in body. That’s what I pass on in my dojo.
My Work
Martial Arts & Yoga Classes - We teach Indian Karate, MMA-style Kalri-N-Ryu, self-defence, Kundalini Yoga, and competitive Yogasana coaching.
Training for All Ages - Kids, adults, seniors – everyone can join. Build strength, flexibility, and confidence together.
Competition Focused - Students train for local to national level karate and Yogasana championships. Winning is good, learning is better.
Dojos in Bangalore - Main dojo in Nagarbhavi, plus new spot in Chandra Layout. Timings for Nagarbhavi stay same.
