About Martial Arts & Self-Defense Training
My Philosophy
Martial arts for me is more than just fighting. I follow a simple idea - dimaag mein gyaan, peeth pe taakat (wisdom in the mind, strength on the back). That’s how I teach - build a strong mind and a strong body, side by side.
What I Teach
I take classes in Kalri-N-Ryu, a style of Indian Karate I learnt from my gurus. This isn’t just any karate - it’s rooted in Indian tradition, but keeps up with standards from KIO and World Karate Federation. So yeah, you get the real deal.
How Training Works
- Learn both traditional and sports karate basics - stances, kicks, punches, blocks, and, of course, kata for sharpness and focus.
- We get into practical self-defense techniques. Stuff you can actually use if needed.
- Not just empty hands - you’ll also pick up traditional weapons training like nunchaku and bo staff (laathi).
- Every session, we work on fitness and flexibility - yoga, stretching, power drills, even tile breaking sometimes.
Champions & Community
My students have gone from state to national champs, bagging medals in both sparring and kata. Doesn’t matter if you’re a kid, teen, or adult - I’ve got classes and personal training for all.
I’m not just here to teach you moves. This is about respect, discipline, and finding your own strength. That’s what I pass on, just like my masters did for me.

My Story
Namaste, I’m Dada. My life? All about martial arts and yoga. I run Self Defence School of Indian Karate and Kundalini Yoga Shala – discipline, practice, and a bit of sweat. I’ve won some Yogasana medals, but honestly, watching my students like Neeraj go from state champ to national winner, that’s the real high. Everything I teach, it’s from my masters, especially my Guru Shrinivas. Shastras say: be sharp in mind and strong in body. That’s what I pass on in my dojo.
