Bring a little bit of magic into your home with my hand-built ceramics. From textured vases for your morning blooms to whimsical mushroom houses that glow with a tealight, every piece is sculpted by hand in my Mumbai studio to create a cozy, enchanting atmosphere.

These textured vases were inspired by the amazing response from you all. This video shows the vases before and after firing, showcasing how the texture really comes to life with the glaze.

A trio of my textured, pear-shaped bud vases. I love how they look with simple dried flowers, adding a touch of rustic, boho style to any space.

This multipurpose piece can be used as a sculptural vase or a unique tealight holder. I'm always experimenting with new forms and functions in my work.

My half-moon shaped vases on display at The Lil Flea market. The intricate lace texture and beautiful turquoise glaze make them a customer favorite.

A happy customer holding one of my textured pitchers. These can be used as a vase for flowers or as a functional pitcher for drinks.

Another satisfied customer with one of my textured pitchers from the Ahmedabad Potter's Market. It's so rewarding to see my work appreciated.

A teapot full of flowers. I'm having a great time using these texture rollers to create new designs, like this teapot-shaped vase.

I often get ideas late at night and scribble them down. This video shows how a midnight sketch of a tealight-and-vase arch turned into a real ceramic piece.

Guess what these are? A shelf full of my mushroom fairy house tealight holders, fresh from the kiln. The bright red, polka-dotted caps are so cheerful.

About Decorative Vases & Tealight Holders

I use traditional pinching and slab-building techniques for these pieces, which means you will notice organic, slightly asymmetric shapes rather than factory-perfect symmetry. Because I fire them as high-quality stoneware, these mushroom tealight holders and vases are durable enough for daily use—just remember to hand-wash them to keep that intricate, textured glaze looking beautiful for years.

How I Create Each Piece

Every vase and tealight holder starts as a humble lump of clay. I avoid using molds, preferring the process of pinching, coiling, and slab-building. This allows me to embed textures and 3D details—like the caps on my mushroom houses or the embossed patterns on my vases—directly into the clay body.

Form Meets Function

I love playing with the dual purpose of ceramics. Many of my architectural pieces, like the Dutch canal house luminaries or the lotus-shaped candle holders, are designed to catch the light. When you place a tealight inside, the cut-outs create a warm, dappled glow that transforms a dark corner into a cozy sanctuary.

Care & Material Details

  • Material: High-fired stoneware that is robust for indoor use.
  • Glazing: All finishes are applied with non-toxic, lead-free glazes.
  • Durability: While stoneware is strong, the handmade nature means these are not dishwasher safe. Gentle hand-washing is the best way to preserve the hand-painted details and unique textures.

Customization & Shipping

I operate my studio from Kalyan, Mumbai, and I ship these pieces safely across India using heavy-duty, double-box packaging to ensure they arrive intact. If you are looking for a specific color palette for a gift or want a custom design, please reach out. I am always happy to chat about what is currently coming out of the kiln.

Hi, I’m Lidwin! I turned my love for pottery into a little sanctuary in Kalyan, where I spend my days sculpting ceramic magic. If you are looking for something that feels made by a human hand rather than a machine, you have come to the right place.
