Tiny vases inspired by memories, quirky succulent planters, and tea light holders that bring a soft glow to your corner. Every piece is handmade, unique, and carries its own little story.

Inspired by my mother's love for tiny decorative items, I created this series of mini vases. Each one is unique, with quirky shapes and hand-painted details, perfect for arranging together on a corner table.

This baby succulent planter survived the kiln and I couldn't be happier. It features a unique double-pot design with a hand-painted bee buzzing around flowers. It's the perfect home for a small succulent.

A tea light holder to bring the night sky indoors. This piece is hand-carved with stars, moons, and clouds, and the final version is finished with real gold lustre for an extra sparkle.

My mini Christmas tree tea light holder, before and after firing. The warm glow from the candle inside brings the hand-painted details to life, making it a perfect piece of festive decor.

These friendly ghost tea light holders are more sweet than spooky. They are hand-formed from clay slabs and each one has a unique, happy expression.

A group of my ghost tea light holders, glowing warmly. They are perfect for Halloween, but their cheerful faces make them a fun decoration for any time of year.

A close-up view of a ghost tea light holder. The simplicity of the shape is what makes them so charming.

Another angle of the ghost tea light, showing how the light flickers through its eyes and mouth.

A family of happy ghosts. Each one is sold individually, but they love being in a group.

About Decorative Vases, Planters & Tea Lights

Everything here is made in small batches, so if you see a slight wobble or a variation in the glaze, it’s just the clay showing its personality. I don't aim for factory-made perfection; I aim for pieces that feel alive. Expect each vase and planter to have its own unique quirks—toh yeh toh hona hi tha! (it’s bound to happen).

When you pick up a piece from this collection, you aren't just getting a vessel for your plants or a holder for your candles; you're getting a snapshot of my studio time.

The Process

My vases and tea light holders start as a mental image of a memory—maybe a house on a cliff or a story from my nani’s garden—before hitting the potter's wheel. I love using sgraffito and hand-building techniques to add textures that you can actually feel. Whether it's the 'Houses on Cliff' series or my slightly spooky but friendly ghost tea light holders, the goal is to make something that makes you smile on a slow day.

Care & Material

These are stoneware pieces, fired for durability. However, because they are handmade, the sculpted elements (like ears on a trinket bowl or thin rims on a vase) are delicate. Please handle them with care. Since I use lead-free glazes, they are perfectly safe for home use, but I recommend hand-washing to keep the colors and details fresh.

Custom Commissions

If you have a specific vision in mind—perhaps a planter shaped like your pet or a vase that captures a particular color palette from your favorite travel destination—let's talk. I enjoy the challenge of turning your ideas into clay. Just reach out, and we can discuss if it's something I can shape for you.

I’m Malvika, and I put a bit of my overthinking, mountain-loving brain into every piece I make. Whether it’s a tiny vase for a single stem or a ghost tea light holder, these aren’t just decor—they’re little reminders of slow days and happy memories.
