From wise owls to cheeky foxes, every little friend here is shaped by hand in my studio. No molds, just clay, imagination, and a bit of magic.
A parliament of owls in session, right here in my studio. This video shows an unpainted owl sculpture, shaped by hand with textured feathers. I love making these wise little creatures.
Here is a look at some of my owl vases and figurines on display. I offer a variety of styles, from colorful and quirky owls with big eyes to more rustic ones with floral paintings.

About Whimsical Figurines & Sculptures
Every piece you see here is hand-built by me, which means you will find small, unique quirks—like a slightly tilted head or distinct feather texture—that simply aren't possible with factory-made items. Because I use pinching and slab techniques, each owl, gnome, or bird is a one-of-a-kind sculpture rather than a mass-produced replica, ensuring that the companion you pick is truly yours alone.
My process is slow and intentional. I believe that clay has a memory, and my hands-on approach with pinching and slab-building allows me to infuse every figurine with its own personality. Whether it is a parliament of owls with their wise, sleepy eyes or a family of gnomes meant to bring luck to your shelf, I spend hours on the details.
I use high-fired stoneware for these sculptures, which makes them durable enough for display on your desk, bookshelf, or even a covered balcony. Because I hand-paint every feather and fur detail using underglazes, the colors are vibrant and won't fade. Please note that since each one is a one-off creation, once a specific piece finds a home, I cannot make an exact duplicate. However, if you see a style you love and it is marked as out of stock, reach out to me. I often take custom orders for these characters depending on my current workload in the studio. To keep them looking their best, a gentle dusting with a dry cloth is all they need. They are art pieces, so keep them away from hard surfaces where they might take a tumble.

I'm Lidwin, and my studio is where clay turns into little stories. I started this journey as a way to keep my mother’s love for collecting figurines alive, and now, it’s my way of sharing magic with your home. Every owl or gnome you see here was built right in my Kalyan studio, just for you.
