Running Community, Events & Expert Collaborations
Running is not just a solo mile. It is a 'Jatre'—a community celebration. Explore my collaborations with global experts, fitness brands, and the running communities I help lead across India.
The Tata Mumbai Marathon is more than a race. It is a platform for philanthropy and a hub for runners and coaches to connect. Here is a glimpse of my experience at the event, including a session with the legendary Sir Mo Farah.
Watching the GOAT, Eliud Kipchoge, during a workout was a lesson in professionalism. His humility, focus, and work ethic are what make him the great man he is.
The coach and runner partnership of Patrick Sang and Eliud Kipchoge has lasted 22 years. It is a perfect combination of talent, planning, and dedication that has produced a runner who transcends the sport.
My visit to Iten, Kenya, included meeting the 'Godfather of Kenyan running,' Brother Colm O'Connell. It was an honor to spend time with him discussing his methods for training over 25 world champions.
With Brother Colm O'Connell at St. Patrick's High School in Iten, Kenya. He is an eternal source of knowledge on training athletes, and I was lucky to learn from him.
My trip to Kenya was a huge learning opportunity. I got an inside view on the preparation for a Sub 2 Marathon from Patrick Sang, coach to Eliud Kipchoge. A chat with him is a lesson in running and in life.
I am honored to be working with the excellent coach Hugo van den Broek to create a one-of-a-kind marathon training program in India, inspired by Kenyan training methods.
Finalizing the details of our 'Kenyan Inspiration' marathon program with Coach Hugo. This 16-week program includes two weeks of intense training with elite runners in Iten, Kenya.
We often try to emulate elite runners, but can we sustain the intensity? To answer this, I hosted a Master Class with Coach Hugo van den Broek, who trains elite athletes in Kenya, to discuss what recreational runners can learn.
Thank you for the overwhelming response to our 'Master Class' with Coach Hugo. For those who missed the session on what recreational runners can learn from elite training, the recording is available on my YouTube channel.
About Community, Events & Collaborations
I do not believe in coaching in a vacuum. My approach involves bridging the gap between elite, world-class Kenyan training methods and the reality of the recreational runner in India. Whether I am analyzing Eliud Kipchoge’s training protocols with Patrick Sang in Iten, Kenya, or hosting technical masterclasses with Coach Hugo van den Broek, I bring those global insights directly to our weekend group runs in Bengaluru and Pune.
Building a supportive ecosystem is just as vital as structured speed work, endurance drills, or injury prevention routines. My coaching philosophy centers on the concept of 'Jatre'—a community fair where every runner’s progress, whether they are running their first 5k or a 50k ultra, is celebrated and analyzed.
Learning from the World's Best
My quest to improve runner performance has taken me to the 'Home of Champions' in Iten, Kenya. From learning biomechanics under the legendary Brother Colm O'Connell to observing Patrick Sang’s mentorship of world-record holders, these experiences are not just for display. They allow me to translate elite principles into accessible, science-based marathon training programs for you. We focus on the 'how' and 'why' behind the training, not just the miles.
Collaborations and Reach
Collaborating with platforms like Cult.fit allows me to reach thousands of runners, breaking myths about running. Whether it is a technical session on running biomechanics, shoe selection advice, or dynamic warm-up drills, these partnerships ensure that quality coaching reaches beyond my local centers.
Community Engagement
Events like the Tata Mumbai Marathon are more than races; they are vital networking hubs. Engaging with global icons and participating in speaking opportunities like TEDx helps me advocate for a more holistic, injury-free approach to running in India. If you are looking to move beyond solo jogs and want to join a structured, science-backed running community, you are in the right place.
