Standard Group Karate & Self-Defense
Schedule & Batch
- Frequency: 3 to 5 sessions per week (Monday to Saturday).
- Duration: 60 to 90 minutes per session.
- Group Size: Mixed batch of 15 to 30 students.
Training Modules
- Conditioning: 3km outdoor runs, rope skipping, and frog jumps.
- Striking: Punching and kicking drills on air and focus pads.
- Sparring: Light contact Kumite with partners (protective gear not included).
Facility Details
- Surface: Standard EVA foam puzzle mats.
- Cooling: Wall-mounted fans and natural ventilation (Non-AC).
- Equipment: Shared access to standing punching bags and kicking shields.
Women's Practical Self-Defense
Class Structure
- Frequency: 3 sessions per week.
- Duration: 60 minutes per session.
- Format: Female-focused group or subgroup.
Survival Curriculum
- Escapes: Techniques to break wrist grabs, chokeholds, and hair grabs.
- Offense: Striking soft targets like eyes, throat, and groin.
- Drills: Simulated harassment scenarios and freeze response management.
Environment
- Attire: Casual sportswear (Track pants/T-shirt) allowed; no Karate Gi required.
- Focus: Practical street safety rather than belt rankings.
Police & Forces Physical Prep
Schedule & Intensity
- Frequency: 6 days per week.
- Format: Hybrid training (Indoor floor strength + Outdoor running).
- Goal: Meeting specific recruitment physical standards.
Functional Exercises
- Running: Timed 1.6km and 5km endurance runs.
- Strength: Rope climbing, traditional Gada (mace) swings, and tire flipping.
- Bodyweight: High-volume push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups.
Coaching Focus
- Technical: Technique correction for long jump and high jump.
- Advisory: Traditional Indian dietary planning for stamina and bulk.

Why I Teach Self-Defense
I’m Sikandar Phore, and I don’t believe in shortcuts. My self-defense training is for those who want to be strong, disciplined, and ready for anything. Jang mein jaane wale ghode kabhi baraat mein nahi naachte! (Horses that go to war don't dance in wedding processions) - if you get what I mean, you’ll fit right in.

How We Train
Yahan sirf mehnat hoti hai (Here, only hard work happens). Sessions mix Karate-based self-defense with tough physical conditioning. You’ll learn daav pech (moves and tricks) that actually work outside the academy.
- Punches, kicks, blocks, counter-attacks
- Safe falling, rolls, sparring with partners
- Strength drills: running, skipping, rope climbing, gada (mace) workouts
- Agility drills: hurdles, tires, cones
Special Focus: Girls & Women
We run separate batches for girls and women. The goal is not just physical strength but real confidence. I also do workshops in schools to spread awareness.

My Story
Mera naam Sikandar Phore hai, Delhi-Haryana ka banda hoon. Karate mere liye sirf sport nahi, pura jeevan hai bhai. Isliye Karate Gurukul shuru kiya - yahan sirf mehnat karne wale tikte hain. Maa ka aashirwad, guruon ki seekh, aur apni mehnat pe bharosa hai. Jo seekha, wahi bachon ko sikhaata hoon - discipline, respect, haar na maanna. Jai Shri Ram, baaki sab theek.
My Work
Karate, Self-defense, Fitness aur Lathi Training - Bachon, badon sabko karate aur self-defense sikhata hoon. Girls ke liye alag batch. Fitness aur Lathi bhi sikhata hoon.
Karate Gurukul - Champions Ki Factory - Yahan sirf lagan se aana. Time pass nahi chalega. Discipline focused karate coaching milti hai.
Coaching Style - Main inspire karta hoon, padhata nahi bas. 3rd Dan Black Belt hoon, push karna meri aadat hai.
