Stop looking for shortcuts. Learn real combat, precise kumite, and self-defense at my Najafgarh dojo. If you want to fight, you train here.

A young student from our girls' batch perfecting her Mawashi Geri (roundhouse kick). Power and flexibility are developed through thousands of repetitions.

Students practicing their punching combinations with full protective gear. Safety is important, but the training is always intense.

A drill focusing on explosive forward movement and punching, essential for closing the distance in a fight.

A student practicing his kicks on a BOB (Body Opponent Bag). This helps develop power and accuracy by aiming for a human-shaped target.

Students practicing their punching drills in a group session. Repetition is the mother of skill.

A montage of various training activities in the dojo, from kicking pads to agility hurdles. This is a typical day at the Gurukul.

I am demonstrating a high kick on a kicking shield held by a student. Proper form and power are crucial.

About this collection

I don't teach fancy moves for camera angles. Before you step into a sparring match, you put in the work with 1000-punch and 1000-kick conditioning drills. We use Body Opponent Bags (BOB) for target accuracy and ensure everyone is properly padded, because learning to handle contact is the only way to build real confidence.

Karate is not a game of points, it is a game of survival. When you step onto my mat in Najafgarh, you aren't here to pose; you are here to build a fighter's mindset.

The Path to Combat

My training methodology is simple and brutal. Every session begins with traditional conditioning—fauji chaal, rope climbing, and agility drills that break you down so I can build you back up. You do not get to the sparring floor until your basics (Kihon) are ironclad.

Sparring (Kumite) Philosophy

Sparring is where the theory meets the reality. I don't let students 'play' fight. We focus on:

  • Distance & Timing: Learning exactly when to strike and when to defend.
  • BOB Target Training: Using human-shaped targets to develop accuracy and power, not just hitting thin air.
  • Full-Contact Safety: You will be in full protective gear—gloves, mouth guards, and shin pads. You have to buy your own kit; I don't provide safety gear, as personal equipment is part of the discipline.

Who This Is For

If you want a certificate to hang on your wall without breaking a sweat, go elsewhere. This is for those aiming for championships or real-world self-defense. Whether you are aiming for state-level Kumite or just want the strength to protect yourself, the work remains the same. Discipline, repetition, and a willingness to get back up after every kick.
