About this collection
Participating in these championships is not about collecting medals for your shelf. It is about pressure. When you are on the mat at the Delhi NCR Open Karate Championship, your technique gets tested in front of referees who do not care about excuses. If you train here, you will eventually face this heat. We do not just teach you how to punch. We teach you how to perform when it actually counts.
Many people treat karate as a casual weekend hobby. That is not how we operate. My students train for results, and that means entering the arena. Whether it is the Delhi Inter-School Women’s Flying Kick Championship or a Zonal Karate Championship, we show up to compete.
Why We Compete
Competition is the ultimate test. It is where you find out if the 'dav pech' (techniques) learned in our Gurukul actually work in a real-world contest. We do not look for easy wins. We look for opponents who challenge us so that my students become sharper, faster, and more disciplined. When you see our work featured in papers like Jagran or Haribhoomi, it is not for vanity. It is proof that our coaching produces medalists who are recognized by local sports authorities and federations.
Specialized Training Seminars
Beyond regular classes, we host focused seminars for those who want to master specific tools. This includes:
- Nunchaku Workshops: Advanced handling and tactical use for those who have mastered basic strikes.
- Tournament Preparation: Specialized camps for students aiming to clear selection trials for national levels.
- Weaponry & Conditioning: Traditional drills designed to push physical stamina beyond standard fitness levels.
The Gurukul Standard
If you are looking for a place to hide in the corner and get a participation certificate, this is not it. We are the ones organizing these events because we know exactly what it takes to win them. Join us if you are ready to be a competitor, not just a student.
Sikandar Phore
I am Sikandar Phore, and I do not have time for games. I run this Gurukul to build fighters who can stand on their own feet, not to hand out participation trophies. You either put in the work, or you find another place.
