Dojo Training in Delhi: Mastering WKF Kumite Techniques
I do not teach basics for the sake of it. We train for the podium, drilling WKF-standard Kumite techniques until they are pure reflex.
I will train so hard that those around me think I am insane. This is my commitment, shown here through relentless bag work, practicing everything from basic punches to the Ura Mawashi kick until it's perfect.
Here I am sparring with one of my students. My coaching is hands-on. I am in the drills with you, pushing you to refine your footwork, timing, and combinations in a real-time sparring environment.
Enactment mode. Visualizing a fight and drilling techniques on the punching bag is a key part of my training method. It builds muscle memory and tactical awareness.
The Kiai, or martial arts shout, is used to focus energy and power into a single strike. Here, I'm practicing a Gyaku-zuki (reverse punch) on the heavy bag, a fundamental power shot in Kumite.
The warm-up is just as important as the main session. This is how I prepare my body and mind before showtime, ensuring I am ready for peak performance.
A new start begins with preparation. Getting the gear on is part of the ritual, a moment to focus the mind on the training ahead. My mindset is simple: I can and I will win.
Ready to train at my dojo, XMA Academy India. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are the first steps on the path to becoming a champion.
About Dojo Training: Mastering the Craft
Stop treating karate practice like a hobby. My sessions are pure WKF-standard Kumite drills, focusing on explosive leg power, reaction time, and scoring moves like Gyaku-zuki and Ura Mawashi. If you want to move beyond the basics and actually compete, we need to fix your stance, refine your biomechanics, and get your conditioning to a level that leaves others tired.
The Science of the Strike
My coaching style is rooted in the reality of competitive Kumite. It is not about looking good in a uniform; it is about scoring points under WKF regulations. Whether you are struggling to land your Ura Mawashi or your footwork feels sluggish, we will break down your movement to the micro-level.
What Training Looks Like
At XMA Academy in Dwarka, we treat the mat like the arena. You can expect a rigorous 90 to 120-minute session that includes:
- Technical Audit: We use video analysis to identify why you are telegraphing your moves or missing the target.
- Conditioning: This is not your standard gym routine. We use plyometrics and agility ladders to build the explosive power needed for high-scoring head kicks.
- Tactical Sparring: We run mock bouts with protective gear, focusing on reaction training where I dictate visual cues to sharpen your split-second decisions.
My Philosophy: The UnEnding Game
I do not just throw drills at you. I teach you how to read an opponent, manage your weight category, and control the ring. My background in sports medicine influences how we train, ensuring you stay injury-free while pushing for the podium. If you are serious about winning, bring your grit and I will provide the tools to get you there.
