My inspiration comes from a deep spiritual place. The power of Shiva, the wisdom of the Gita, it all fuels my belief that we are capable of incredible things when our mind and body are aligned. This is the source of my energy.
About The Philosophy: More Than a Workout
Forget the silent, incense-filled studios you might expect elsewhere. At The Fitness Box, we practice yoga on heavy-duty rubber gym tiles, often with the sounds of Olympic weightlifting happening in the background. It is raw, it is intense, and it is designed for those who actually want to recover their bodies and harden their minds.
Why Yoga is My 'Dawai' (Medicine)
In the middle of the heavy lifting and CrossFit intensity, yoga is the recovery glue that holds everything together. I do not teach yoga as a separate, gentle practice. I teach it as essential maintenance. If you are skipping recovery because you think it is 'lazy,' you are simply waiting for an injury to happen.
The Training Method
We combine traditional Hatha Asanas with functional mobility drills. My sessions focus on:
- Active Recovery: We flush out lactic acid after heavy lifting, using movement to keep you mobile rather than static.
- Mobility Drills: We use PVC pipes and plates to open up tight shoulders and hips, specifically targeting the restrictions that come from heavy lifting.
- PNF Stretching: For those who need deeper, 1-on-1 work, I use manual PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) techniques to help you reach new ranges of motion safely.
The Vibe
This is a community, not a classroom. You will see lifters, CrossFitters, and yoga practitioners sweating in the same room. We provide the accountability and the push you need.
