I believe in letting my work speak for itself. From award-winning models to custom storytelling cakes, here is a look at the techniques and themes I am most proud of.

I'm thrilled to announce that I won the Modelling Award at the Indian Cake Awards 2024! A huge thank you to the judges and everyone who has supported my work.

So excited to be announced as a finalist for the Modelling Award at the Indian Cake Awards 2024!

I'm overjoyed to have won 1st place in the Decorative Cupcakes category at Cakeology Bengaluru 2024 for my "Markets of India" display.

I was so happy to win second place in the "Once Upon a Sugar Dream" online competition for my "Tangled Under Water" piece, where I reimagined Rapunzel as a mermaid.

About Awards & My Portfolio

Winning the 2024 Modelling Award or placing in the 'Once Upon a Sugar Dream' competition isn't just about the trophy; it’s proof that those hundreds of hours of sculpting—the kind that gives you real hand cramps—actually work. I treat every competition piece as a lab to test new techniques, like how to make a mermaid figurine look like it's floating underwater or how to engineer a 3D Bharatanatyam stage. When you order from me, I bring that same experimental, 'let’s-try-it' energy to your cake, whether it's a simple celebration or a massive, complex storybook creation.

My portfolio isn't just a gallery of past orders; it’s a living record of the styles I love to return to. Whether I am crafting a custom storybook cake that captures a specific family memory, creating a traditional Seemantham piece with miniature edible food platters, or experimenting with elegant floral buttercream, my goal is always the same: turning your narrative into something you can eat.

Why I Compete

I participate in competitions like the Indian Cake Awards and Cakeology Bengaluru because they force me to step outside my comfort zone. When I decided to reimagine Rapunzel as a mermaid for a modelling challenge, I wasn't just making a cake—I was learning how to balance fondant structures and paint details that look natural from every angle. This constant testing makes me a better baker for my clients. If I can figure out how to keep a 3D figurine upright on a dance stage, I can certainly handle the structural challenges of your birthday or wedding cake.

What You Can Expect

What you see in my gallery is the result of a two-person team. My sister Nivedita and I do everything from our Malleswaram studio. We don't have a massive factory line; we have a small kitchen and a lot of patience for detail. If you want something, we can probably make it, but we need time. Because every figurine is handmade and every design is sketched out, I usually require at least a week’s lead time to ensure everything is perfect. If you have a wild idea—a cake that tells two stories at once or a sculpture of your favourite work desk—reach out. I love a good challenge.
