Featured Custom Cakes & Handcrafted Artistry
A showcase of my signature work, where personal stories meet sugar art. From complex cultural themes to quirky, detailed sculptures, these pieces represent the heart of my craft.
This is one of the most meaningful cakes I've ever made, a 'Dharmasthapane' cake. It tells a story of two contrasting worlds, Dharma and Adharma, through incredibly detailed, hand-sculpted fondant figurines and hand-painted backdrops. The client envisioned this entire concept, and bringing their story to life was a challenge I thoroughly enjoyed.
This is my signature Seemantham, or traditional baby shower, cake. I love creating these pieces that are so rich in culture. Every detail, from the hand-draped fondant saree on the mom-to-be figurine to the tiny, traditional platters, is crafted with care to honour your special ceremony.
This cake was for a joint birthday celebration, and it’s all about family. I created custom fondant figurines of the couple with their beloved pets, capturing a quiet, happy moment at home. Making these personalized toppers that look like you and your loved ones is my absolute favourite thing to do.
This video tells a story of near-disaster and recovery. Yes, I dropped a cake for the first time in 11 years! But it also shows my commitment to getting it right. I re-baked the entire tier and finished this beautiful two-tier floral engagement cake, complete with handmade sugar flowers, just in time. It’s a reminder that behind every perfect cake is a lot of passion and hard work.
This cake was for a true bike enthusiast. I created a miniature, edible replica of a Yamaha RX100 bike entirely from fondant. Sculpting objects with this level of detail, from the engine to the handlebars, is a technical challenge that I find incredibly rewarding.
Avengers assemble! This was a massive, four-day project, bringing together so many iconic characters for a 5th birthday. Every hero, from a baby Hulk to a detailed Spiderman, is handmade from fondant. This cake shows how I can bring any popular theme to life in a fun, playful, and artistic way.
This is for all the fans of 'The Office'. I hand-painted this portrait of Prison Mike on a sheet of fondant. I love painting because it allows for a level of detail and expression that’s very personal. It’s like therapy for me, and the result is a truly unique piece of edible art.
Your ideas are the best inspiration. This cake started from a simple doodle a client sent me, showing their life split between weekdays and weekends. I translated that sketch into a full-fledged story cake with a custom figurine. It shows you don't need a perfect image, just a vision, and we can create something special together.
This is the cupcake display that won first place at Cakeology 2024. The theme was "Markets of India," and I created a bustling scene with vendors, produce baskets, and even a chaiwala, all made from fondant and placed on top of carrot cupcakes. It’s an honour to have my work recognized, and it was a joy to create.
About Featured
I believe a cake should be more than just a dessert. Whether it is a detailed 3D Yamaha RX100 or a complex cultural piece like the Dharmasthapane cake, I love turning your personal stories into edible art. My process is hands-on, often starting with a simple sketch or doodle, and I work directly with you to ensure every handmade figurine and painted detail reflects your vision perfectly.
Every project you see here started with a conversation. I specialize in taking a concept—like a joint birthday or a traditional Seemantham—and finding the right technique to bring it to life. I don't use pre-made toppers; I hand-sculpt everything from scratch, which allows me to capture specific expressions, pets, or even the drape of a Kanjeevaram saree.
My work often involves solving structural challenges, like carving 3D shapes or balancing heavy elements on a cake base. This includes using specialized ganache and buttercream techniques to ensure your cake handles the Bangalore climate while looking sharp. Transparency is part of the process. If a design needs a certain weight to be stable, or if fondant might be stubborn in the humidity, I will tell you upfront.
I handle every order from my Malleswaram studio. Because these are complex, handmade designs, I require at least a week of notice. This gives me the time to sketch, bake, and sculpt your figurines without rushing. Whether you need a dessert table for a naming ceremony or a single, highly detailed cake for a milestone, I am here to help you turn your idea into something memorable.
