About Handmade Figurines: The Heart of the Cake
I sculpt these figurines by hand using fondant, so please factor in at least a week of planning before your event. Since these are custom-made, we will start with a quick chat or a sketch to capture the exact outfit, hobby, or expression you want. If you are worried about the figurine disappearing too fast, let me know—I can build key elements on a removable pedestal so you can keep the piece as a memento long after the cake is finished.

My Approach to Figuring
I spend hours on the anatomy and expressions—the way a saree drapes, the specific glasses someone wears, or even the look of a pet. For traditional events like a Seemantham, I pay special attention to the jewelry and attire, often sourcing photos to get the Kanjeevaram patterns and colors right. It is not just about shaping fondant; it is about capturing the person or the memory they represent.
How We Get Started
It all starts with a conversation. We discuss the theme, poses, and the 'story' of the cake. If you are looking for a keepsake, tell me early! I can design the base so the figurine sits on a removable disc. If you have a specific mood board or a few photos, send them over—I love working from real-life references to get the details perfect.
A Quick Note on Care
Fondant is delicate and dislikes our Bangalore heat. These figurines do not like moisture or direct sunlight. If you are planning a pickup from my studio in Malleswaram, please transport the box in a car with the AC on to ensure your topper arrives in perfect condition.
