A spinner must be a good fielder off their own bowling, just like Ravindra Jadeja. Here, we are doing caught and bowled prep, focusing on a strong follow-through and a ready catching position.
You can't ignore this part of your game. This is a caught and bowled practice drill, combining bowling and catching to improve reflexes and readiness.
This is what I call fielder's intent. I'm teaching the players to always expect the ball, walk in with the bowler, and be ready to back up. You are always involved in the game.

If you want to be a top-tier spinner, you have to be a threat even after you deliver the ball. At Strive & Shine, we do not just stand around during fielding drills.
