We treat fielding as a skill, not a warm-up. Whether it is high-frequency flat catching or agility ladder drills, we use the same methods that help our seniors compete in KSCA league matches. It is repetitive, it is exhausting, and it is exactly what you need to stop leaking runs.

At Willow Sportz, we have a simple rule. You can be the best batsman in the nets, but if you cannot field, you do not play. Our fielding and fitness program is designed for players who want to take their game to a competitive level.

The Training Approach

  • Reflexes and Catching: We run high-frequency sessions focusing on flat catches and slips. We train you to judge the ball early and keep your eyes level. You will take hundreds of catches until it becomes muscle memory.
  • Old-School Conditioning: This is not a typical gym. We focus on functional cricket fitness. Expect tyre flips, resistance sprints, and agility ladders. We build the explosive power you need for diving, throwing from the deep, or accelerating between the wickets.
  • Match Simulation: Fielding under pressure is different. We create scenarios with specific field placements so you learn to read the game and handle pressure situations. When you get tired, that is when the real training starts. We ensure you maintain intensity right to the final over.
  • Expert Oversight: Whether you are training at our Seegehalli, Kadugodi, or Whitefield grounds, the intensity remains constant. You get professional turf wickets and guidance from experienced coaches who know what it takes to get selected for Zonal trials.
