About Hand-Painted & Artistic Details
If you are looking for a cake that stands out, you are in the right place. I do not use stencils or printed edible sheets for my designs. Every element—whether it is a delicate floral pattern on marzipan eggs or a complex portrait—is painted freehand with a brush, ensuring that no two cakes are ever exactly the same.
The Art Behind the Cake
I approach every project as an artist, not just a baker. When you ask for a hand-painted design, I treat the fondant or marzipan surface exactly like a canvas. Most bakeries rely on printed edible images, but I prefer the texture and character that come with manual brushwork. If you have a specific pattern in mind—like the embroidery on a favorite saree or a family heirloom—I study the composition and replicate it by hand.
Working with Marzipan
One of my favorite mediums is my homemade cashew nut marzipan. Because I make it from scratch in my kitchen, it has the perfect consistency to hold fine details. This allows me to create intricate items like floral Easter eggs or personalized figurines that have a smooth, professional finish without needing a fondant cover.
How I Plan Your Design
Since hand-painting is a time-intensive process, I recommend discussing your concept with me at least a week in advance. For projects like replicating traditional textiles or portrait painting, I often create 2D fondant cutouts first to add depth, which I then layer and paint to match your theme. Whether it is a single hand-painted accent or a full-coverage artistic masterpiece, my goal is to give you something that feels truly custom to your occasion.
