Whether you are recovering from an injury or looking to improve your alignment, my prop-based sessions help you find stability and depth safely.

Using wall ropes for a supported backbend allows for safe spinal decompression and heart opening.

Chair yoga isn't just for relaxation. We use chairs as a tool for deep hamstring stretches and building leg strength.

With the help of chairs and partners, students safely work on hip-opening poses like the center split.

This is a rope-assisted inversion, a signature of our prop-based practice that helps lengthen the spine.

About Supported Practice: Yoga with Props

You will hear me say 'Ruko' (hold) a lot in these sessions. We use props like wall ropes, chairs, and blocks not just for comfort, but to allow you to stay in an asana long enough for your muscles to actually lengthen and release. It is about precision and finding the right geometry, not speed, so expect to move slower than you might be used to.
