Your partner is more than just a cheerleader—they are an active part of your birth team. Learn the hands-on techniques that turn them into your true birth room hero.

"You yourself have to be really informed to be able to better support your partner." This is a key takeaway from one of our dads-to-be, highlighting how our workshop empowers partners with crucial knowledge.

This video illustrates our philosophy: "She leads the way, you walk beside her." We teach partners how to be present and supportive, not just passive observers, during the labor process.

From pregnancy to parenting, we guide you as a team. This video shows a partner supporting his wife in a squatting position, a technique that helps during labor, and ends with the joy of their new family.

Labor is a team journey. This video demonstrates four couple exercises designed to naturally encourage labor after 37 weeks, using gravity, movement, and the power of your connection.

Love looks different when you're expecting. This video captures the intimacy and teamwork we foster in our workshops, as couples learn to support each other through physical touch and shared movement.

Did you know that a partner's touch can release oxytocin and reduce the perception of pain? This video celebrates the simple but powerful act of holding hands and being a rock for each other.

We teach partners how to be a calming and reassuring presence during labor. Your support can make all the difference, and our workshops give you the tools to provide it effectively.

Touch is a powerful therapy during labor. A simple hug or reassuring touch from a partner can increase oxytocin, the love hormone, which helps labor progress and makes the experience more positive.

It's not just about getting in shape; it's about building your bond. Our couples classes focus on working together, understanding each other's needs, and preparing for labor as a united team.

We celebrate husband goals. This video showcases the many ways a partner can provide physical and emotional support during pregnancy and labor, from massage to attending a workshop together.

About The Partner's Role: Your Birth Room Hero

It is not about watching from the sidelines. During my workshops, partners practice the lift and tuck and various counter-pressure massage techniques that actually help manage labor discomfort. You will leave knowing exactly where to stand, how to apply firm pressure, and how to advocate for your partner when things get intense.

Many partners feel helpless in the birth room because they do not know the physical techniques of support. They want to help but worry about being in the way or making things worse. In our Aura labor prep sessions, we remove that fear by turning theory into muscle memory.

We teach specific, actionable techniques:

  • Counter-Pressure & Massage: We practice the exact spots for hip squeezes and lower back counter-pressure that alleviate contraction pain.
  • The Lift & Tuck: A hands-on position to relieve lower back pressure, which is essential for back-labor.
  • Physical Advocacy: How to help your partner move between labor positions, using birth balls or gravity-assisted squats, without needing a nurse to show you how.
  • The Emotional Anchor: We discuss how to hold space, when to advocate for the birth plan, and how to keep the birth room vibe calm, whether that is dimming lights or managing the playlist.

You will also learn the B.R.A.I.N. framework together. This helps you make decisions as a unit, ensuring that if labor takes an unexpected turn, like an induction or C-section, you are not just reacting, you are choosing together. Whether you join us at our Kalyan Nagar studio or via our interactive Zoom masterclass, the goal remains the same: you leave feeling like a prepared, confident partner, not just a guest in the room.
