Hands-On Birth Preparation Workshops in Bangalore
Move, breathe, and connect before the big day. Join our small-group, in-person workshops in Bangalore where we go beyond books to get your body and partner ready for birth.
A look inside my in-person birth prep workshops. We practice massage for relaxation, learn how to use the birth ball effectively, and run through labor drills to build muscle memory and confidence.
My "Gearing up for Birth" workshop uses creative methods like "Birth Art" and walking the "LABOR-inth" to help couples connect more deeply with the emotional and spiritual journey of birth.
Birth is a huge transformation. In my workshops, we use art, movement, and meditation to move from simply having outer knowledge to tapping into your own inner knowing.
Embodied birth preparation is about tuning in to your body's wisdom. Here, we use mindful, intuitive movements to relax, bond with partner and baby, and let the good hormones flow.
About this collection
In these sessions, we trade hospital scripts for movement and practice. You will get on the floor, use birth balls for positioning, and walk the 'LABOR-inth' to visualize your journey. It is about building muscle memory so that when labor starts, your body and your partner already know the rhythm of the work ahead.
Why In-Person Preparation Matters
While online classes provide the theory, these in-person workshops provide the somatic experience. Birth is a physical event, and your body needs to know how to move, relax, and cope before you reach the hospital. These sessions in Bangalore are designed to help you shift from intellectual preparation to physical preparedness.
What We Cover
- Physical Drills & Positioning: We spend time on the floor practicing squats, lunges, and using birth balls to understand pelvic dynamics. You will learn how to open your pelvis to create space for your baby.
- Partner Support: If your partner is feeling lost, this is where they find their role. We practice hands-on comfort measures, including counter-pressure massage techniques that you can use during contractions.
- Creative Connection: We use tools like 'Birth Art' and guided meditation to calm the nervous system. It helps you drop out of your analytical mind and tap into the instincts that labor requires.
- Small Group Vibe: We keep cohorts limited to 6–10 couples. This ensures you have the space to ask honest questions about hospital interventions, pain relief, or fears without the awkwardness of a large lecture hall.
Practical Details
Our sessions are typically held in studio spaces across Bangalore like Indiranagar or Domlur. You do not need to bring equipment; we provide yoga mats, gym balls, and art supplies. Whether you are planning a natural birth or want to be informed about medical options, these workshops ensure you walk into your birth room feeling capable, calm, and connected to your partner.
