The right birth ball makes all the difference. This video shows our moms using exercise balls for various movements that provide comfort during pregnancy and can help with labor progression.

An Aura Mom asked about the difference between amniotic fluid and urine leakage, a common confusion. Our classes create a safe space to ask these questions and get informed answers.

Did you know that your posture is key for a normal vaginal birth? This video shows our moms practicing downward dog, a pose that helps lengthen the spine and open the hips.

Looking for a shorter labor? Gravity is your friend. This video shows two key exercises, including deep squats, that use gravity to help labor progress more efficiently.

Chanting "Om" during our prenatal yoga classes helps create a deep connection between mother and baby. The calming vibrations are passed to the fetus, promoting a happy and peaceful environment.

About Prenatal Fitness for a Stronger Birth

Prenatal fitness at Aura isn't about gym abs. It is about stamina and pelvic alignment. We teach specific movements—like deep squats, side lunges, and birth ball work—to help your baby find the optimal position for birth, giving you more comfort and control when labor begins. You will learn to move in ways that genuinely help your progress, not just exercises that burn calories.

Beyond the Workout

Most prenatal fitness routines focus on keeping you 'in shape.' We do something different. We focus on 'labor readiness.' Every movement we teach—from downward dog to specialized lunges—is designed to create space in your pelvis and prepare your body for the physical demands of delivery.

What We Focus On

  • Pelvic Mobility: Using birth balls, we work on pelvic tilts and opening exercises to help your baby descend efficiently.
  • Stamina Building: Labor is long. We practice low-impact movements that build the endurance you need to stay active through the early and active stages of labor.
  • Mind-Body Sync: We use breathing techniques and visualization to keep you calm. If you can control your breathing, you can manage your pain. We also include the 'Ice Cube Challenge' in our sessions to help you mentally practice staying focused through discomfort.

Why Practice Matters

Many of our moms tell us that when they were in the delivery room, these movements became muscle memory. You don't have to 'think' about your position; your body just knows how to create space. Whether you are aiming for a natural birth or want to stay mobile during an induced labor, these exercises give you agency.

Our sessions are a mix of in-studio energy and online convenience for those who prefer learning from home. You are not just joining a class; you are joining a community of Aura Moms who are all navigating the same journey.
