About Become a Certified Yoga Teacher (YTTC)
We go beyond standard posture correction to help you build confidence as a guide. From the opening Hawan ceremony that sets your intention to daily philosophy discussions and sound healing, we focus on helping you teach from a place of personal experience. You will learn to hold space, structure a flow, and understand the energy behind the movement rather than just following a manual.
Teaching yoga is a significant responsibility. In this 300-hour course, we combine the ancient wisdom of Sanatan Dharma with the practical demands of modern studio environments. We do not just teach you how to adjust a student in a Downward Dog; we help you understand why that adjustment matters.
Each day follows a specific rhythm: morning Hatha flows, afternoon theory sessions on the Yoga Sutras, and evening meditation or chanting. We intentionally keep our groups small to ensure you receive ample time to practice teaching and get constructive, real-time feedback.
Training in Rishikesh allows you to step away from the distractions of city life. The environment itself—with the Ganga nearby and the energy of the Himalayas—becomes an integral part of your learning. By the end of our time together, you will have the certification you need, but more importantly, you will have a deep, personal clarity on how to share your knowledge with others.
