Clay is more than a craft to me, it is a language. Here is a look at the training, the philosophy, and the heart-warming moments that shape my therapeutic pottery practice in Bengaluru.

I was so proud to complete my Clay Conversations Practitioner Certificate. This training deepened my understanding of how to blend creativity, connection, and care, and it informs every therapeutic art session I lead. This qualification is from a UK regulated framework.

Receiving messages like this from a student fills my heart with gratitude. Knowing that my teaching brings them joy and they are happy with their progress is the most rewarding part of what I do.

This little clay figure tells such a tender story. A young participant in my kids clay workshop sculpted this baby after her own doll was taken away, finding a way to process her feelings through her hands. It is a beautiful reminder that clay can hold our emotions when words are not enough.

About My Journey & Kind Words

When I lead these sessions, I am not just teaching hand-building or wheel throwing. I am holding space. Whether it is helping a child process big emotions through a simple clay figure or guiding a senior through sensory exploration, the goal is always peace, not a gallery-perfect pot. If you are looking for a session where you can breathe, let your guard down, and just feel the clay, this is the place.

A Foundation in Connection

I believe that a good facilitator must be a student first. That is why I pursued my Practitioner Certificate in Clay Conversations, a Level 5 qualification under a UK-regulated framework. This training gave me the technical grounding to blend creativity with genuine care. It taught me how to support individuals who might find traditional talk therapy difficult, using the tactile, grounding nature of clay to facilitate expression.

Why 'Clay Conversations'?

Many of my students come to me because they are feeling overwhelmed or simply need a break from the noise of daily life. In our studio, there is no pressure to create a perfect bowl or a flawless sculpture. We focus on the process. When a child on the spectrum builds a dinosaur to express their day, or a senior rediscovers the feeling of clay in their hands, those are the real successes. These sessions are about the joy in rolling, squashing, and simply being present.

The Heart of the Studio

I hold sessions both at my HRBR Layout studio and at locations across Bengaluru. Every session is designed to be accessible, whether you are a complete beginner, a family looking to bond, or someone seeking a quiet hour of self-care. The messages I receive from parents and students after these sessions—the ones where they tell me they finally felt peaceful—are my 'lifeboats.' They are the reason I continue to keep the studio doors open, the clay wet, and the space safe for anyone who needs to find their own story in the mud.
