Private Hand-Building & Wheel Trial
Session Structure
- Duration: 2 hours of facilitated instruction.
- Format: Primarily a hand-building session (pinching, coiling, slab techniques). Includes a short rotational trial (approx. 10-15 mins) on the electric wheel for each participant.
- Instruction: Lead instruction by Swathi with tactile guidance.
Materials & Equipment
- Clay: Unlimited standard stoneware or terracotta clay usage during the session.
- Gear: Wooden modeling tools, cutting wires, sponges, and fabric aprons provided.
- Workstation: Large shared tables prepared with canvas coverings.
Post-Production
- Firing: Professional double-firing (Bisque + Glaze) included for one piece per participant.
- Finishing: Studio staff applies glossy food-safe glazes after the event.
- Timeline: Finished ceramics require slow drying and kiln scheduling; ready for pickup in 3-4 weeks.
Bisque Ceramic Painting Session
The Kit
- Base Item: One pre-fired 'bisque' ceramic item per person. Options typically include cheese platters, mugs, or breakfast bowls.
- Colors: Access to a palette of professional ceramic underglazes.
- Tools: Set of varied brush sizes for detailing and layering.
The Process
- Duration: 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Guidance: Brief tutorial on color application and design planning on porous surfaces.
- Finishing: Studio applies a transparent top-coat glaze and performs the final high-temperature firing to make items food-safe and waterproof.
Logistics
- Timeline: Pieces ready for collection in approximately 2-3 weeks.
- Social Setup: Tables arranged for social interaction; BYOB (light beverages/snacks) permitted.
Offsite Team Building Workshop
Logistics
- Location: Instructor travels to client's premises (Office, Clubhouse, etc.) within city limits.
- Setup: Includes newspapers and table covers to protect furniture.
- Staffing: 1 Lead Instructor plus assistants based on group size (approx. 1 guide per 15 pax).
Activity Scope
- Duration: 90 to 120 minutes.
- Theme: Customizable themes such as Team Totems, Desk Organizers, or Festive Idols.
- Focus: Stress relief, tactile engagement, and creativity.
Material Specifics
- Clay Type: Uses Air-Dry Clay (dries hard in 24 hours, decorative use only) or Eco-Clay (dissolvable).
- Exclusions: This package does not include kiln firing or glazing. Items are taken home by participants immediately after the workshop.

How It Works
Just show up. I handle the clay, tools, guidance, and clean-up. Afterward, I glaze and fire your pieces so you actually get a finished keepsake. Only catch: ceramics take a bit of time to be ready, so don’t expect instant results, but that’s part of the charm.

My Story
Hey, we’re Artfully Yours Pottery. Swathi started this studio with pure passion (and a bit of chaos, not gonna lie). Clay Conversations Practitioner Certificate? Yep, she nailed it, even while juggling tough care-giving days. Our family’s always sneaking in random stuff for the studio—old calling cards, you name it. The real magic? The kids, the students, the wild moments when someone surprises us. Their joy and those sweet thank-you notes, they’re what keep us rolling.
My Work
Personalised clay lessons & workshops - We teach clay to all ages, run sensory clay workshops, and host one or two-day classes.
Inclusive pottery classes - Kids, adults, seniors—everyone’s welcome. We offer supportive sessions for children on the spectrum and seniors with dementia.
Clay therapy sessions - We’re all about play, not perfection. Clay is therapy, so come get messy and creative.
All materials provided - Just bring yourself. We’ve got the tools, clay, and plenty of good vibes.
