About Pottery & Sculpting Workshops
Why I Love Clay
Clay isn’t just a material for me - it’s a way to have real conversations, sometimes with yourself, sometimes with the people around you. No pressure to be perfect. I see folks of all ages find their own story in the squish and roll. Most days, I end up learning as much as I teach.
What Happens in the Studio
My studio’s got a chilled out vibe, more adda (hangout) than classroom. You’ll see people laughing, getting messy, and figuring out their own way with the clay. Some folks come for therapeutic clay art sessions, others to just switch off and create. No two pieces ever look the same, and honestly, that’s the best part.
Types of Workshops
- One-day workshops for a quick creative escape - like sculpting a bell pepper from scratch.
- Two-day deep dives where you pick up sculpting for mindfulness and tackle detailed projects (polar bears have been a hit).
- Themed pottery workshops, from Ganesha idols to jellyfish, so there’s always something new.
- Potter’s wheel and clay painting tasters if you just want to try.
Who Shows Up?
Everyone. Total newbies, seasoned artists, kids (who usually know more about axolotls than I do), families, corporate teams for creative team-building with clay. We’ve even worked with design students, folks on the autism spectrum, and seniors with dementia.
What’s Included
All materials, expert guidance, and I’ll prep your creations for firing. Want to glaze your piece? That’s an option. If you get hooked, we’re planning longer sculpting courses soon.

My Story
Hey, we’re Artfully Yours Pottery. Swathi started this studio with pure passion (and a bit of chaos, not gonna lie). Clay Conversations Practitioner Certificate? Yep, she nailed it, even while juggling tough care-giving days. Our family’s always sneaking in random stuff for the studio—old calling cards, you name it. The real magic? The kids, the students, the wild moments when someone surprises us. Their joy and those sweet thank-you notes, they’re what keep us rolling.
