Clay is more than a medium; it is a language of connection. Join me at my HRBR Layout studio to explore pottery not as a finished product, but as a path to mindfulness, expression, and discovery.

I was so proud to complete my Clay Conversations Practitioner Certificate. This journey has deepened my understanding of clay's therapeutic power and reinforced my commitment to blending creativity, connection, and care in my work.

I believe that art should be accessible and free of pressure. In my workshops, the goal isn't to make a "perfect" piece, but to enjoy the process and leave with a sense of achievement and something you're proud of.

Often, when given the freedom to create, we are met with a blank space. My classes are designed to help you fill that blank canvas, providing techniques and tools to unlock your own unique expression.

The pure concentration of a child at work is a lesson in mindfulness. My studio is a space for these "Muddy Puddles" moments, where kids can have a creative outlet and just be themselves.

The process is just as important as the product. Here, a child explores the texture of dry clay, a sensory experience that is both calming and educational. There is no right or wrong way to play.

Two different approaches to filling a silhouette with clay. This shows how no two creations are ever alike, even with the same prompt, because each artist brings their own unique perspective.

A student's work-in-progress on a clay silhouette. I love seeing how they interpret the project, using different shapes and patterns to create hair and features.

A more abstract and expressive take on the silhouette project. This piece is a beautiful example of how clay can be used to convey feeling and mood through texture and form.

A young artist deeply focused on her creation. Providing a calm and encouraging environment allows children to fully immerse themselves in their work and find their creative flow.

A young girl painting with clay, fully engaged in the sensory experience. These moments of quiet focus are where creativity and self-discovery happen.

About My Journey with Clay

When you walk into my studio, leave the need for perfection at the door. We do not just make bowls or cups; we explore the tactile, grounding experience of clay. Whether we are hand-building silhouettes or working on the potter's wheel, my goal is to guide you through a sensory process that helps you switch off, reconnect with yourself, and find peace in the messy, joyful act of creating.
