The Heart of Our Studio
Pottery is so much more than making objects. I built this space to be a place where we connect, share stories, and learn from one another through the language of clay.
I'm proud to have completed my Clay Conversations Practitioner Certificate. This learning deepens my ability to blend creativity, connection, and care in every class I teach.
These messages are my 'life boats'. Knowing that my teaching brings joy and that students are happy with their progress is the most rewarding part of my work.
Our feedback wall after a parent-child session. It's filled with wonderful comments that remind me of the connections we build through clay.
About The Heart of Our Studio
When you walk into our studio, you will see a wall covered in notes from our students. It is where we pin the feedback from our parent-child workshops and therapeutic sessions. This wall is my daily reminder that pottery is not just about making a bowl. It is about the quiet conversations we have while our hands are busy with clay.
Clay Conversations is the core method I use to approach every class. I earned my practitioner certificate to learn how to better use pottery as a tool for connection, rather than just a craft. When I work with seniors or children, the focus is entirely on the sensory experience of rolling, squashing, and shaping the material.
This approach changes how we run our pottery studio in HRBR Layout. We do not aim for the perfect ceramic piece. We aim for a space where you can feel relaxed and peaceful. Whether you are looking for therapeutic clay sessions, a creative outlet after a long week, or beginner pottery classes, the priority is always how you feel during the process. We provide everything you need, from stoneware clay to the tools, so you can focus on the learning.
If you are curious about our hand-building pottery techniques or want to join one of our sensory art workshops, please get in touch. I would love to hear what brings you to the clay.
Artfully Yours Pottery
I started this studio with a lot of passion and a bit of chaos. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels welcome, whether you are trying the wheel for the first time or looking for a quiet, therapeutic outlet. Let's get our hands dirty and see what stories we can shape together.
