We believe spaces should feel grounded. Our designs rely on natural, honest materials like exposed brick, cooling Kota stone, and local Mangalore tiles to create textures that age gracefully and tell a story.

We often explore the sculptural possibilities of common materials. This detail from the Ferns Cottage shows a projecting brick pattern that creates intricate shadows and adds a unique texture to the facade.

For this holiday home in Mangalore, we used locally sourced laterite stone for the walls. Its rich, earthy red color and porous texture give the building a strong sense of place and regional identity.

A wall of random rubble masonry provides a rugged, textural contrast to the smooth, finished surfaces of this Mangalore holiday home. The window opening is left without a frame to emphasize the thickness of the stone wall.

The roof of Villa Maati is covered in classic Mangalore tiles, a traditional material we use for its durability and timeless appeal. It pairs beautifully with the exposed brick walls and surrounding palm trees.

A series of custom-fabricated, slender steel-framed arched doors at the Ferns Cottage. This element combines classic form with modern construction, allowing for light, transparency, and an elegant transition to the outdoors.

In the Polibetta Farmhouse, we upcycled rafters from the old house to create a new false ceiling. This sustainable practice not only reduces waste but also brings a piece of the property's history into the new design.

The walls of this bedroom in Villa Maati are finished with a dark, textured lime plaster. This traditional, breathable finish gives the walls a soft, tactile quality that cannot be achieved with paint.

About Our Signature Material Palette

We handpick every material lot, from stone quarries to timber yards, to ensure consistency and quality in your home. Before finalizing your palette, we encourage a site visit to understand how natural light interacts with these textures in your specific space, as the appearance of brick or stone changes significantly between morning and evening sun.
