Youth Boxing Program: Build Discipline and Grit
We don't teach shortcuts. Our youth program is for kids who want to earn their progress through sweat, focus, and real boxing technique.
Two of our youngest boxers squaring off. They learn respect and control while developing their fundamental boxing skills.
A young fighter throwing a jab during a drill. The focus and determination in his eyes show the champion's mindset we build from day one.
An exchange between two of our "cubs." They are learning how to punch and defend in a safe, supervised setting.
A young boxer in his stance, ready for action. We teach them to be calm and focused, even in the heat of the moment.
Focused on the target. This young athlete is learning the importance of accuracy and keeping his eyes on his opponent.
Learning to block and counter at a young age. These skills build a strong defensive foundation for their future in the sport.
As iron sharpens iron, one champion sharpens another. Our young boxers train together, from roadwork to pad work, pushing each other to be better.
About this collection
This isn't a daycare. Whether your child is 12 or a teenager, they’ll be doing the same roadwork, tire drills, and pad work as the adults. They learn to take a hit, recover, and keep pushing—building a mental toughness that pays off way outside the ring.
Training That Builds Character
Our youth training in Peenya is built on one simple rule: earn it. We don't care about participation trophies. We care about stance, guard, and the discipline to show up when you're tired. Boxing is a physical game, but it’s just as much a mental one.
How We Train
- Basics First: Before any sparring, kids drill the jab, cross, and pivots until they are muscle memory. We focus on form over volume.
- Conditioning: Expect roadwork and outdoor runs. A boxer’s engine is built outside the gym, not just on the mats.
- Safety: Sparring is strictly supervised and matched by skill and age. We want them to learn, not get hurt. They learn to take a punch and stay composed.
Why Our Youth Program?
When your kid walks into our ring, they learn that respect is earned, not given. Whether they are training for fitness or competition, the mindset we instill—what we call Beteyado simha malagidare hego? (A hunting lion can't be sleeping)—is about staying hungry and alert. If you are ready for a program that treats your child like an athlete and not a customer, come see us.
Anthony's Boxing Club
We started this fight team to give kids a place to learn what hard work actually feels like. We don't do fancy, we do results—showing up early, drilling the basics, and respecting the grind.
