Explore our sanctuary spaces, from our garden home in Mysore to the Himalayan peaks, all designed to help you soften, breathe, and reset.
Welcome to Anokhi Garden, a true home away from home. This collage captures the essence of my Mysore retreat space, with its quiet garden corners, old-world charm, and a peaceful shala for practice. It is a setting I have created for you to unplug, go inward, and reconnect with your inner stillness.
Feel the collective energy of our community. This was a beautiful morning guided by the wonderful Eddie Stern at the Indica Mysuru Yoga Utsava. You can see participants moving together, from gentle floor sequences like Dwi Pada Pitham to standing postures, all united in breath and practice under the open sky.
This is the tranquil setting for our Bali Yoga Teacher Training, the Ananda Ubud Resort. Imagine practicing in an open-air yogashala facing lush rice fields, with luxury facilities and warm Balinese hospitality creating the perfect environment for deep learning and self-discovery.
Nourishment is a core part of our retreats. Here you see the work of Sahana, founder of Rasayana Mysore Kitchen, who guides our Dharamshala retreat. You will not only learn the principles of Ayurvedic cooking but also experience her delicious, healing recipes firsthand, like this vibrant grain bowl and wholesome open-faced sandwich.
A glimpse into the cozy and beautifully crafted ambiance of our Dharamshala retreat accommodation. Our residential option includes a stay at a boutique homestay with well-designed rooms, a welcoming cafe for connection, and a yogshala offering 360-degree mountain views.
Meet Tapan, who leads our Ashtanga Vinyasa practice in Dharamshala. Coming from the T. Krishnamacharya lineage, his deep knowledge is evident in his practice, from a grounded seated posture to an advanced inversion like the pincha mayurasana. He is passionate about helping you build a sustainable self-practice.
This is an invitation to our intensive cleansing retreat, Śaucam, led by Pratik Rajani at my Mysore garden home. This poster captures the spirit of the retreat, focusing on purification and inner clarity through dedicated practice in a serene environment.
This is the daily rhythm of my Mysore retreat, where each day is a gentle flow of practice and rest. The background shows a soulful evening chanting session, a key part of how we wind down. The schedule includes morning kriyas and asana, midday sensory resets, and evening talks to foster deep connection.
About Featured
We keep our retreat groups small so you get personal guidance on your alignment, rather than feeling like a number in a large class. Whether you join us in our Mysore garden or the mountain homestays of Dharamshala, our focus remains on helping you move at a pace that nourishes your body.
Our retreats are built on the framework of rhythm over routine. We believe that true wellness happens when you stop performing and start listening to your body's innate wisdom.
Our Approach
Each location offers a distinct energy. In Mysore, our garden home provides a space for deep grounding, where we combine traditional asana with restorative practices like Trataka. If you travel with us to Dharamshala for our Mountain Soul program, you will experience the integration of Ashtanga Vinyasa with the healing principles of Ayurveda, supported by local vegetarian meals and mountain air. For those ready for a deeper immersion, our Bali teacher training provides a 21-day container to explore yogic philosophy, pranayama, and teaching skills in an open-air shala.
What to Expect
- Nourishing Food: We believe diet is a form of practice. Depending on the location, we serve sattvic vegetarian meals, Ayurvedic kitchari, or wholesome grain bowls designed to fuel your movement.
- Digital Detox: To help you reconnect with your inner Shakti, we include designated no-device time slots during all our residential programs.
- Small Groups: By capping our intake, we ensure that every participant receives direct feedback and support from our facilitators.
Whether you are a beginner looking for an introduction to ashtanga or a teacher seeking certification, our goal is to provide a safe space where you can let your breath become your prayer.
