The Philosophy of My Practice
Martial arts is not just about the physical technique. It is a path of reflection, struggle, and coming back stronger. These moments from my personal practice tell the story of why I do what I do.
A compilation of different looks, from my martial arts gi to casual wear. It shows that a martial artist is not just one thing, but a whole person.
A short, reflective video. The path of a martial artist involves a lot of quiet contemplation and self-reflection.
This is a video version of one of my main posters. It reinforces the message that your body is more capable than you think, and I am here to show you how.
A video showing moments of thought and practice. The journey of martial arts is a constant cycle of thinking, learning, and doing.
Another short video combining moments of reflection with practice. This is the daily life of someone dedicated to the art.
About My Journey & Musings
People often ask me why I still train every single day. The answer is not about winning a fight or perfecting a form. It is because movement is the only way to clear the mind of the noise from the past few years. If you are waiting for a perfect moment to start your own path, you are just waiting for life to pass you by.
My journey is not a straight line. The years 2021, 2022, and 2023 were not easy. They broke me, changed me, and finally opened my eyes. Through all of that, Aiki Jujutsu was the constant. When I stand on the mat, whether at my dojo in Koramangala or Malleswaram, it is not to shout or break things. It is to remind myself that my body is my temple. Tumhare sharir se zyada zaroori kuch nahi hai yaar.
I teach this not as a sport, but as a way to stop being a victim of your own thoughts and circumstances. When you train with me, you will learn to manage stress, posture, and pressure. We focus on:
- Position, Posture, and Process: The foundation of everything I teach.
- Breath and Mobility: Techniques that help you handle life better, not just fight.
- Real-world Application: Samurai principles that apply to corporate decisions and daily anxiety.
I do not offer magic pills. I offer a path. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you. We can train online via Zoom where you will need a partner, or we can train in person. If you are ready to find your own strength, I am ready to teach.
