My Journey and Philosophy in Yoga
My path to this practice was not about finding exercise, but about finding a way to live. Here is the philosophy and the personal experience that guides how I support my students today.
Satnam. My name is Gunjan Amrit Nam, and I am here to support you on your wellness journey. My approach is built on compassion and a deep understanding that true healing starts from within. I look forward to connecting with you.
There are moments of simple joy and presence that I cherish. This is a candid moment of just being. My practice has taught me to find peace not just in meditation, but in the small, quiet moments of everyday life.
This is a glimpse into my personal practice and the energy of our annual retreats. I believe true wellness comes from connecting with ourselves in a sacred space, allowing the mind to quiet and the spirit to feel nourished. This is the state of peace and community I aim to cultivate for you.
About My Journey & Philosophy
I didn't come to yoga looking for a stretch, but for a survival tool during a busy life as a mother and professional. My practice isn't about rigid rules, but about building a relationship with your own nervous system. Whether you join me for a consultation or a retreat, my aim is to give you the same technology I use to stay centered every single day.
How My Practice Evolved
My path to Kundalini yoga started when I realized that being busy was not the same as being alive. After years of intense gym workouts, I found that I was pushing myself rather than listening to my body. Everything shifted when I encountered the breath. It was not just an exercise, but a science—a technology—that allowed me to align my internal state with the world around me.
The Philosophy of My Work
I treat yoga and Ayurveda not as abstract concepts, but as practical tools for daily living. If you are struggling with a scattered mind or feeling disconnected, it is rarely because you lack willpower. It is often that your nervous system is simply overloaded.
My work centers on:
- Dosha Balancing: Understanding your unique Ayurvedic constitution so you can eat and live in a way that fuels you.
- Nervous System Regulation: Using Kundalini Kriya and specific breathwork to move from a state of 'fight or flight' into one of calm.
- Sacred Daily Living: Finding rhythm in everyday life, from morning routines to aligning your energy with moon cycles.
Why We Connect
I am a mother of three, and I understand the demands of a fast-paced life in Delhi NCR. I do not ask you to change your life overnight. I ask you to make small, consistent shifts that create a ripple effect. When we work together, we are not fixing you because you are broken. We are uncovering the wisdom that is already there, waiting to be remembered. Whether through a 1:1 Ayurvedic consultation or a group retreat in the mountains, I am here to hold space for your growth.
