Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates in Bandra
Pregnancy and motherhood change your body in ways that require patience and precision. As a mom of two and a trained specialist, I help you rebuild your core and pelvic floor strength safely in my Bandra studio.
I receive a lot of inquiries from moms for postnatal Pilates, and this feedback from an overseas client explains why. Pilates is a fantastic way to ease back into exercise, rebuild core and pelvic floor strength, and feel more like yourself again after having a baby.
About Specialized Program: Prenatal & Postnatal Care
We don't rush the process. Before starting, I evaluate your core and pelvic floor engagement to understand exactly how your body is recovering. You will not find generic workouts here, just targeted movements on the Merrithew Reformer that respect where you are in your motherhood journey, whether you are six weeks or six years postpartum.
Being a mother is physically demanding. I see many clients come in feeling disconnected from their bodies, often struggling with changes in their stomach muscles or pelvic floor stability. You might be itching to get back to exercise, but jumping into high-impact workouts too early can cause more harm than good. My sessions focus on intentional, low-impact movement.
We use the Merrithew Reformer to provide support where you need it, allowing us to isolate and strengthen the Transverse Abdominis without putting unnecessary pressure on your joints. Whether you are navigating pregnancy or postnatal recovery, the goal is always the same: getting you to feel like yourself again.
Safety is non-negotiable. I am a trained pre and postnatal specialist, meaning I understand the specific physiological shifts your body undergoes. We avoid exercises that aggravate Diastasis Recti and instead prioritize breathwork and alignment. This is about building a foundation that supports your daily life, from carrying your baby to navigating your work day. It is real recovery that actually lasts.
